It will ensure, your current email is the one the would see first on the recipient screen.

Some times if u use reply, d email will go and bury somewhere...without the recipient seeing it. So anytime you want to follow-up....just use the "Reply all" option. You can also experiment this on two of your emails to draw into conclusion. It's all about testing stuffs.
