You need to install the international ROM on it. That way, you'll receive updates as soon as they are released. I had the same problem with my own note 10+ when I had it. For 9 solid months, no update. Had to flash the international ROM on it. I got 5 updates in one day lol.

(1) I can't change d notification tone to my prefferd tune (the sound i wan use dey ontop my sim card)
(2) despite restricting d background data, my whatsapp still dey work whenever I switch on my data...

solution to problem 2
activate your data saver feature, restricting the background app environment isnt enough
1. go to your settings
2. go to your connections setting
3. locate your data usage and open it
4. look for "data saver" option and activate it

or just click on the search bar and type in data saver, its much faster

for problem 1, just watch some youtube videos on it, you'll ne be fine

i'm not a camera freak, i'm talking about the performance, does it lag Or hang when used heavily on apps like youtube, instagram, facebook, twitter e.t.c

Go ahead and buy. There's nothing like faded cameras. Camera software only gets improvement which makes older phones look like the camera has become less effective.
