Please what's average down?

Let's say you bought 4 shares of amc for $10 and it later falls to $6... To average down you buy another 4 shares at that $6 so that when you add the whole shares and divide by 2 it becomes $8 for the 8 shares at average price. You can decide to still average down again if you want.

The advantage is that when the share price rises you now have more units because you bought when it dipped. This strategy should only be used for a stock you believe in and have done a thorough DD so as not to end of with bags.

Your formula will not work in case of multiple purchases! It is better you work it properly as follows:
4units @ $10 = $40
4units @ $6 = $24
Total of 2 transactions = $64
Average price is Total cost divided by number of units
$64/8 = $8

WHY I THINK AMC WILL GO MUCH HIGHER THAN GME

SO Why AMC?

1. AMC has a smaller market cap than NOK in other words, technically with the same amount money pumping AMC or NOK, AMC is much easier to push the price up (So its improtant to buy and hold)

2. Not for all, but for many, GME is a lot more expensive to invest than AMC. + I'm positive that many people will take profit from GME next week. + these GME investors will also move into AMC.

3. AMC is more heavily shorted than NOK, we just need to push above the resistence, hopefully on monday premarket to fly to the moon. (+ Biden might allow hwuawei to work again which would crush 5G market)

4. last point, what RH and other brokers did is pretty bleeped up but the bottom line is that, unfortuantely, for now, our market is not so free for people like us. with having said that, I believe AMC will likely be the last or one of the last few stocks that will get this type of attention, boost, and + buy.

this is because i think the regulators/hedgefund is coming up with plans rn as we speak to do something about this revolution and will eventually find a way to Bleep us over.

But MOST IMPORTANTLY, I just think these fuckers will simply not have enough time to stop AMC short squeeze or to kick in regulations and therefore will give the free market the benifit of doubt of succeding in our goals to demand free market.

Thus, again going back to my point earlier, I think GME and AMC will most likely be the last stocks where the biggest squeeze can happen in foreseeable future in shorterm.

One day, the time for NOK can come...?

HOWEVER for now, AMC is the play. If you can afford to buy GME, great u do that, but most traders on this chat/reddit/etc will probably can buy more shares of AMC and make more money.

As much as we have nostalgic memory of gamestop, we also have fucking unforgettable memories at AMC.

Very few brokers offer in-specie transfers i.e. transfer of the actual stocks.
In most cases, you have to sell your positions, move out the cash and then buy the stocks over again at the new broker.
