I don't understand why they did set uniform cutoff point. I mean who does that? Except the average performances across all states and between GT/EH are the same, nothing justifies that. This one nah federal job, no be IOC. But we wait for clarification. Next week is around the corner

Interview is slated next week,nothing like exam again, cut off mark is 70 and above . A state where the performance is poor ,best candidates have been selected for the next stage. All the best

This is very important question that required answer, of course there should be consideration to course of study this is oil & gas recruitment like NNPC, DPR, PEF, NLNG etc. some courses have advantages than others forget about cut-off mark which is based on state anything can happen just be prayerful

Going by this submission, the cutoff might still depend on the performance of the individual states.

Some people here have no respect for those that are painstakingly trying to get an update on the recruitment process. They're staking their honour and dignity to risk being damned, ignored or even insulted only for some wayward kids to tell it to their face that they're lying, when they don't have the courage to approach even a gateman. You sound wayward, illogical and badly brought up yourself.. logic demands you wait out the info given here before badlashing on another(if neccessary at all). what if the "some wayward kid" bringing the info to you here is the kid of the exec secretary using this forum and he heard from his dad talking about the cancelation of the interview two minutes ago, would you still say that "your highly exalted source(s) who staked his/her honour and dignity" is correct come that next week?? learn decorum. this is a public forum with the high and low here, nobody has the monopoly of genuine information here, you'll be surprised who might be behind the key pad at the other end, so don't expose your intellectual prowess like that again!!

The funniest people in this thread are the ones who keep insisting that states should have different cut off marks, I don't know if they assume that everyone in their state is olodo and they are hoping that their poor marks will be enough if the average is low

In this case, there is no dull or intelligent candidates.

The test was marred with irregularities and the malpractices. There is no way the management can select the best out of the process.

If the management of NCDMB should go ahead with the interview, then a serious minded person should forget about the process to avoid heartbreak because it already lack merit.

This is my first time applying for a major federal government job. I understand how merit for EH can easily be selected from interviews. However, my concern is how will they select GTs who merit it from the thousands that would do interviews. My point is your performance can take you far, but you still need grace. Some element of luck is needed and the interviewers just have to like you. Let's see how future events unfold. I wish everyone success in all their endeavors. So many other opportunities out there. Don't limit yourself. Shalom�

It’s very unfortunate that the process is marred with so much irregularities such that the cheat ones are those celebrating anyway interview will determine the best just be ready to face the best of luck to all in anticipation

What forest do you come from? Very poorly bred and lacking in intellect and emotional composure. A person brings info and automatically he should be respected? How dare you call people wayward just because they disagree with you or someone you hold in high esteem? You've a horrible character but fortunately,you've someone to tell you today.

If the test was marred with irregularities then why is someone clamoring for different cut-off mark, I will assume that the irregularities was evenly distributed across states...So it doesn't make logical sense that someone is asking for different cut-off mark perhaps to accommodate them
