Please a friend just got his visa and i saw that the expiry date on his port is in two months, i asked him how he intends renewing since he is travelling already and to renew port in UK no be beans, he said he will do a new one b4 travelling and attach to d old one. Please i am kind of confused, is this even allowed or even possible to do a new port when the old has not expired. please i want to know before i start arguing with him

Today makes it 21 working days my biometrics was done and i got this email last night in my inbox after ing them twice. “Thank you for the information you have provided.we escalated your case to the relevant department.you should be ed regarding your case within 15 working days from the date of escalation.your patience is highly appreciated”. Yes perfectly fine...at the end of the day when he gets to UK the actual visa is on a card called BRP card and not on the port. So he just uses the new port and that card

So if he can renew in naija before travelling that a great idea

Cancel your application and probably apply for a refund. Your surname cant change to ur first name at this point and neither ur first name be ur surname now. This is a great error in my opinion.

Pls wait for other response before u do anything, though am not sure, but may it could be done in TLS during biometric. Some people have corrected some mistakes before

UKVI is just frustrating someone self, my spouse ve received her visa since last week Tuesday but am yet to receive collection mail ooh after biometric on Dec 10th. Abeg can someone advise me on what to do. Am getting worried.

It can be rectified on d day of your biometrics. Just tell the attendants.Also write a cover letter to the VO stating the errors and it in your online application.

Tell them on biometric day and they’d fix it for you.

Masters for sure but you have to check the school requirements. Some courses / school only take 2.1 while some take up to 3rd class

I'm yet to get CAS. I ed my interview with them on the 22nd of Dec but I'm sure when they resume on the 4th of Jan my CAS will be issued. It might take 3-7 days to be issued because I'm to resume on the 25th.

It’s just 6 working days...you’ll get your visa.

And I think priority application was too much in V.I

But never the less you’ll get your visa

Do a cover letter to attach incase u have ed self service or take it along for incase of assisted service. Do not cancel o. When u get to TLS explain to them, they have a way to correct it

It doesn't matter. It was the same for.my son. My husband's name was mixed up.by the agent and he still got his visa
