Have u not had egwusi soup with fresh tomatoes in it?
I ate one in one of Naija hotels( hotel presidential ph), all my family , nobody could replicate that soup. I'm no fan of egwusi but if I see that soup, I will eat that everyday. Gosh. There was ginger in it. The rest of the ingredients I don't know. Recently, I noticed that's how some west African countries make egwusi.

My mom makes it too.. she fries fresh tomatoes in groundnut oil , the adds it to the Egusi soup while cooking.. she used the boiling method of cooking Egusi tho

Using little salts to eat avocado is for kids
Try it without salts and see the real sweetness of avocado pear
I used to add salts when I was a kid though
