Exactly my thoughts bro! It look like a spitter! But there are no spitter in Nigeria or west Africa at large abi these animals don migrate down this part of the continent? The other day some killed an inland taipan here in Nigeria and wasn’t even aware of what he just killed!

Katian Spitters are in Nigeria and look just as brown as that. They are majorly referred to as Mali Cobra tho. Looks so much like one. And inland taipans have been found in lekki and some areas in Nigeria. I think it migrated from Australia or somewhere else through the Antlatic ocean channels. Or someone brought it in

It is a cobra.... spitting cobra

It look like a spitter bro but not a spitter because there are no spitter in this part of Africa. I would have said a rain forest cobra but rain forest cobra late black in nature and much longer than that and it’s certainly not a black mamba because not in this part of Africa as well. So it’s a Naja Haje (Egyptian Cobra).

I did agree with you on this. Omooo the day I read an inland taipan was killed in Nigeria I got goosebumps! Watched a special documentary about that snake and the fear in me towards that snake is forever! That snake fit bite you, you won’t even know. It’s painless but na sure death!

I don't even know about its painless bite but I think it's the most venomous, but black mamba venom acts faster. While a Black Mamba bite produces venom that can kill 20 people, Inland Taipan's own can kill 100 people. But then Black mamba kills within 30mins but Inland Taipan can extend to 45mins before you're gone. Black Mamba bite is also easier to treat that's why I find inland taipan more deadly

Both snakes ain’t in Nigeria but with the discovery of inland taipan in Nigeria I won’t be surprised if a black mamba is found. I have a fear phobia for snakes lol.

[s]Agreed, but when men are talkin', you don't interfere, all right? Next time grab a seat & learn one or two things from their conversation, all right?[/s]

I hated snake before but when I started reading and watching snake documentaries, I learnt more about them. On 2 occasions I've seen snake and just walk past. The only time I might not be able to tolerate is if I find it inside my house
