https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/12/breaking-cbn-introduces-special-bills-to-mop-up-idle-cash-in-economy/ What effect will this have in our idle naira, the economy and our investments. |

Non be anybody fault o, CBN say they non need our loan again, the only other options available na to save, buy USD, forex or crypto, invest in NSE or NYSE, try high yield and other risky schemes or give our money to scammers. petaling: |

GIANTPLUSHUB: There's need for a balanced view. When people say 480 is cheap, on what basis? I am saying sub 400, because the largest player in that market supplied at 386. Now I can say sub 405, cos they now do 392. Most folks just quote based on their sentiments against the currency. This 470 could be another buying opportunity like 435 was, I don't know. My opinion remains that as long as CBN supplies at 392, anything above 405 is not sustainable. |

XiaoLi: Should be a new type of OMO open to all. Tenor is 90days. Maybe yields will be around 2-5%. that way, it may reduce some folks' tendency to convert their naira to dollars. |

Iogobenz:I have. I mentioned the 470 could be a buying opportunity. My valuation remains 405. |

awesomeJ:Your valuation is not reality oga. Abokis took advantage of naive people again like they did when CBN said they'd commence fx sales last september. This CBN new policy on banks paying dollars for remittance recipients is dead on arrival. 1 Like |

TransAtlanticEx:Your analysis is backwards. When we talk about imports- it includes Going to schools abroad, buying your foreign wines, furnishings and food items etc. If we have less imports, then less number of people will go after the dollar which will force the value of dollar down. 1 Like |

igbizen: How about we think of how to increase earnings to balance the books Instead of looking for ways to suppress Imports Yes a slight reduction here and there will really help But increased productivity and more export earnings will make the most impact And pls no exportation of raw materials Value added exports is more like it Just sayin 1 Like |

Iogobenz: Thanks, in good mode. Expecting over 3m from my ponzi tomorrow. Got one am getting 60k every 10 days. I get 8 times my salary every month and very excited. What else should I say. This is my 3rd month in the ponzi. Barafinance is selling rice at 25k a bag, is it a fair price as I intend buying enough for charity this Xmas. Please nobody should follow me and invest, I strongly believe it's a ponzi but I like the alerts. Most importantly, I invested what I can forgo. 1 Like |

Why are Nigerians wicked to Nigerians? FG heavily subsidised prepaid meters, so that Discos can distribute it free of charge to Nigerians, but here in my region, some disco officials are already making huge sum selling meters. Some of these staffs are still saying they don't have enough prepaid meters, even though they have more than enough meter to distribute freely to many homes in Nigeria. Why are we so wicked to ourselves and still hope and pray for a better Nigeria? 6 Likes |
