Start by asking specific questions of challenges you are facing. “CSS is hard” is a generic problem and you may need to get an online course or a paid teacher.

CSS used to be confusing but with CSS 3,flexbox and Grids I can tell you css is no more confusing.

It's not hard sef but people always wish to just get it right away like html.

I will like to hear your lamentation when you start studying Javascript.

What's more, there are different browsers and different screen resolutions so good luck ing all that mess.
Solution: leave that job for someone else and work on backend, using an actual programming language.

Keep trying bro. It took me a long time before I could learn CSS. CSS Flex especially. I had to more videos that had more to do with the practicals than the actual lesson.
This one you're complaining heavily because of markup CSS, I wonder what you would do when you venture into the actual programming(JavaScript e.t.c).
I hope you don't give up bro cause js is hell.

If you can't learn CSS, sorry, but programming is not for you. Go into another field.

Not really, but CSS is quite simple to be confusing, when compared to actual programming languages like JavaScript, python etc.

Unless you're tryna become a fullstack software engineer, then i'd advise against going too deep into css. Just learn the basics needed for good functionality, at least desktop-based.
Making a web app, for example, look good on all devices is one hell of a job, but yes its very possible 100%. you just gotta devote time to it, and you'll see yourself becoming a front-end engineer in the long run during that task.
So pick your poison.... back end or front end or both . . .

Nothing is wrong with CSS..your web page is simply not "responsive"...learn to build a responsive website so any type of browser will view the page well...
I am a beginner too.. through with HTML5, currently learning python for back-end and CSS...
A very good HTML foundation will help u a lot...hope it is not basics you know??

can you use inline styling sheet instead of linking ur CSS to HTML?

Lmao! Most people talking like CSS is beans. I've met a good number of web developers that can't work (CSS) without a relying heavily on a library. CSS does seem so simple at first. But things can get pretty complicated very easily.

OP every programming language has it's learning curve; Stay the course; I can recommend Kelvin Powell's Channel on YouTube to you. He's one of the most best CSS evangelist.

CSS is very simple. I learnt a lot of it in less than 5 months. You just need a very good personal teacher. Although, you would need to practice a lot, so that it can stick in your head.
