Please who has experienced something like this, someone I outbounded to bought my domain on Dan.

I have provided the auth code to Dan so buyer can initiate transfer but buyer is yet to do so for 3 days now.

I have reach out to Dan, they said they are on it and that buyer has UpTo 14 days to initiate the transfer.

Me I can't wait so I message buyer to inform him to do the transfer and if he needs any help doing it, he has read it but has not replied yet.

I don't even know what to do, I hope he initiates the transfer so I can transfer domain to him. Is this normal?

Just wait till after 14 days. DAN will transfer it to their and pay you if he doesn't transfer it before then.

Exactly, because in my sales letter I stated this to him. I told him to acquire the name to prevent a competitor from having it and he did, I guess that's why he isn't interested in initiatiating the domain transfer.

The domain name is the exact name for his business with just addition of "services". He owned Geo+ keyword, while I owned Geo+ keyword+ Services, which he paid for.

I'll wait for the two weeks to reach, if he doesn't initiate the transfer I'll tell Dan to take possession of the domain and pay me. If he likes he should reach out to them to collect it and if he likes he should not.

The Whatsapp training does not mean u won't have to read this thread from page 1. All the information u seek is in this thread, it's left for u to not be a lazy Nigerian youth and start reading like who dey read for exam.

Just attending iykes Whatsapp class is not enough for u to go far in this biz. The class is good for u to have a better understanding but the learning should not end there.

I believe you're talking about the personal tutorial fee. In every new adventure, one always feel lost at first which is why the training is recommended for personal tutorship. Not to worry though, just start reading from page 1 of this thread. It is very important that you do.

I was lazy to read the thread too so I had to pay the OP for mentorship. But I had difficulty grasping the knowledge because I don't even know what I'm being taught. A fellow newbie which we subscribed to the training together put me through some very simple things. Turned out he read the first few pages of this thread before paying for mentorship.

And when they say read, it doesn't mean reading like you have an exam. Nobody can read almost 2000 pages of NL comments and except to all. Even some of them are petty comments. Just read/skim/glance to learn even if it's some few . If you like read page 2 and jump to 700 and go back to page 10. Knowledge is knowledge as long as you've gained something you won't forget easily.

Namepros also have some interesting topics for beginners which is not so congested like the one here on nairaland.

Silverrock once shared a PDF file of gathered information from this thread. If you can get that, it will help too. Some guys here (khalyfah, simpsonrocket) have blogs that you can learn from. Just check them out. I will also see if I can put together some in domaining that can help newbies.

And don't be afraid to start. I'm not sure there's anyone here who didn't crappy names at first. I still do. Read up and get your first set of crappy names with your 5k.
