I know of someone who was evicted due to d same issue during SSC 45 (Nigerian Army short service Combatant course 45), he went under a knife. D surgeon did a good job, he reapplied for SSC 46, as I'm speaking to u, he is NDA under going training

Hey guys good morning! Please I’m in a dilemma here o! As I was filling my details online, I got to where I would put my NIN(I didn’t know we would be needing this). Now, the issue is that there’s an error in my date of birth on my NIN. I was born in 1993 buh NIN shows 1990. Tried several times to correct but unable to yet. However my international port, WAEC and date of birth certificate shows my correct age. Would this affect me? I think I wouldn’t be shortlisted and this kinda painful!

Okay boss, one more thing, in the online form, they say having an NSE or COREN certificate is necessary for Engineers. I don’t have either, however, I’ve got IEEE certificate, would this suffice?

I think it's a general issue especially the institution attended space even after filling it then in the Application summary it's not updated so trying to submit the response is incomplete form experiencing same here

But I heard it is impossible to change or make corrections in NIN(national identity number) especially changing the date of birth.
Not actually sure of the above though.

it's not impossible, just that it takes time and you pay more, it's takes like 4 to 5 months, but it's possible to change dob

Not necessary, dey said dat it wil stand as an added advantage (gives u an edge ova ur statement, since d competition is within ur state).

As for d NSE certificate, if u can get grad certificate, I think it will be considered. I mean, to be a corporate member, u must have at least practiced Engineering for 4 years, under a consultant/ed engineer.

U can get d grad certificate online under a period of 1 to 2 weeks. I think it costs like 2-3k. Or better still, u can locate an NSE office in ur state

I don't have NIN, is there an alternative means of ID that can be used? Like Int'l port number or BVN?
