As regards sense of tatse I can taste salt, Maggi and pepper in food and meat but the distinct deliciousness/sweetness of the food is just lacking since yesterday.

@bolded can be explained well..the case of doing charm that doesn't allow only gunshot to penetrate but other things can just like doing okigbe( machete won't enter if being used on you) but if stone or glass is used on you, it will penetrate

I actually don't feel it's COVID-19. I believe it's malaria because to the best of my knowledge I've been taking due precautions. Aside the loss of sense of taste and smell I feel perfectly okay.

The most common cause of what you have (Hyposmia) is a viral upper respiratory tract infection.

Most of the time this would resolve with time with you doing nothing, apart from maybe rest and staying hydrated.

The fact that COVID-19 also causes similar symptoms should not therefore be surprising because it is after all essentially a viral respiratory infection.

That you took a drug and are alive does not mean the drug treated anything in you.

You most likely had a viral respiratory infection which was going to go away anyway.
