EXCLUSIVE: Newly Married Soldier Killed By Fellow Military Colleague In Borno

A newly married military officer, Lieutenant Babakaka Shehu Ngorgi of the 202 Battalion, has been discovered to be actually killed by a fellow soldier in Bama, Borno State.

It was earlier reported that he was killed by Boko Haram insurgents but further checks have now revealed that Ngorgi was talking to his wife when one of his colleagues shot him from the back six times.

The attacker, according to a source, was heard shouting after the incident that, “I have achieved my aim".

It is not yet clear why the soldier killed Lt Ngorgi, who is his senior in the army and on the battle field.

The victim only got married in December 2019 and was looking forward to raising a family when the tragic Incident occured.

2.i am a northerner and we are many only few show themselves that is the ones able to stand the level of hate,tribalism and wrestle in the mud with you.I believe telling the truth has nothing to do with religion.

And tribalism doesn't exist in my dictionary. More reason it seems like "tribalism" down the south is due to the fact that we always speak and call out the irresponsible southern leaders, but never should it be your yardstick for raging when we call out the Northern Leaders and citizens for not being proactive and responsible in tackling the menace ravaging the region. Most Northerners on Nairaland and other social medias are silent. Call out your leaders pls!
