Mayorsky07:
good afternoon bro,how has been your day. This is the clear picture of the goat

This has nothing to do with Boer goats at all, this Sahel goat most found in Yobe/Borno, it can also be a cross of Sokoto red and a Sahel.
Please don't be deceived, it has nothing to do with Boer goats

Rahmaan:
it's a boer but 60% not a 100% boer

This is not a place for argument.
What I do here is give update on practical goat farming, not theories. Here is not were you prove who is correct and who is not.
Both of you have agreed that it is a cross. Once it is not a pure breed, it may be difficult to tell exactly what breed it is. Most breeds have similar features.
And it gets more difficult to differentiate, when it has been crossed.

Spray your herd, for external parasites, regularly, especially during the raining season. When doing that make sure it is on a sunny day, so that they can easily be dried up and warmed up, by the heat from on the sun.

We pray them in batches to ensure that the solution touches every part of their bodies.

Before you start a farm or any business, go for practical training, from someone who is already into it. Do not think you will get all the training and information on a post.

LOL no offense but I don't need ur training, If your aim is to share your livestock journey with us, then make it detailed so that others can learn from it and if it is information marketing about your Farm that you want to do, come out plain, nobody will judge you for that

People are now coming to prove unnecessary points.

No need to begin to exchange words with you.
I know how those who need free things behave.
They bahave as if you owe them.

Is this where you want to do practical training?

This is my thread. I decide the information I give and the one I do not.
Go and open your thread and put all the theories you know there. No offense!

Goats Feeding:

After the rains comes foraging...

vikacydevato(m): 1:38pm On Jul 25, 2020
This crossed buckling is just about 2 days.
It is so big that the doe finds it difficult to breastfeed it. Going under the mother is so difficult. We always assist it to get milk.

Let not also forget the buck that did the job.
A very healthy and active billy.

When you are ready for crossing, we can always advise you on the best way to go.

Goat farming is sweet, especially during kidding period.

That is part of the reasons we insist on training you by yourself. We do follow-up, which helps us to know the history and condition of your herd. If you want us to work with you, you can use our call line.
Or work with the person who trained you or where you bought them from.

These are the things to look at, at this time:

How is the barn built?

What is the temperature of the environment?

Is proper goat farm management carried out in the farm?

Which breed are you farming?

What is their age?

Where are they from?

What is the condition of the parents?

Are they of a breed that needs compulsory vaccination?

When last were they dewormed and give basic treatment.

What do they feed on? Etc.

All these are not what you will do here.
We can still work with you if you wish or like I said earlier, those you bought them from.

Hope you understand?

Anytime you wake up is your morning.
Stop doing "try your luck" with your investment.
Get a professional goat handler, to turn your investment around.
