Good morning morning nairalanders, hope the covid 19 hasn't been hard on you, all the same thank God for another day. Just this morning my brother caught this fish in a very small body of water, the funny part of it is that it's just a small erosion and there were two fishes, he used a machete on them both but one managed to escape, we call it Abrima in ogba language, below are pics of the fish and the place it was killed, pepper soup things on point come and us. Happy Sunday.

Big Snake fish in a small pond, that fish is better enjoyed after drying not very palatable with pepper soup

This fish is one of a kind, finding it in small water is not surprising... Did you know that, the fish actually live in dry mud during dry season and will be feeding on it's body till next rainy season and grow it's body back. 1 Like |

That's not a mudskipper... Mudskippers are usually smaller in size... That's an African Lungfish....
