Anyone know where to stream or Alter Ego (2017 Nollywood film)?

I don't even mind paying, saw it was on Amazon prime but it 'isn't available in my location' sad

Traffic by Steven Soderbergh

4 stars out of 4.

Apart from the different perspective thing going on, I loved the score.

The Purge: Election Year (2016) - 8/10

Now this is it!!!
An ethnic cleansing exercise disguised as a National Holiday.
A supremacist agenda clothed in messianic robes.
Ladies and gentlemen, Give it up for the Most Asinine Idea ever in the history of government.
The New Founding Fathers must have some loose crew somewhere (proven too).

As for our presidential candidate, someone should please help me tell her that, YOU CANNOT RULE WITH CLEAN HANDS.
My gosh, she is so smart and stooopeeed, all at the same time.

Great Character development.
Violence - check
Ideology - check
Suspense - check
Therapeutic - check
Madness - check!

Best purge movie!!!!!!!!

I watched it last year, ed from 9jarocks dot com but I can't really if the quality was good or poor or manageable. Nollywood movies pic quality from the site is hit or miss for old movies. cry

You can use Irokotv it's been touted as the Netflix of Africa. It's got tons of Nollywood content and some other African industry movies. But you'll pay just like Netflix. It's the best bet for better and clearer quality.

Lol...You don't have to blame the young lad. I can't count how many times, my sibling & i saw that movie. I first saw the Chinese version & when the dubbed English version came out, i also bought it.

We really enjoyed it back then and rewatched many times but this kid just outdid everything in a few days. The disc even got tired and started cracking or skipping, but the Gee was having none of it. grin

There was a time around October last year when Netflix made a comment saying someone watched Lord of The rings about 3 hundred and something times within a month.
I actually thought it was a joke or an exaggeration. I wondered how that was possible, thinking maybe the person has gone Loco.

Only for a few months (December) my brother corrected that error or doubt. I experienced it first hand how some people can get obsessed with their favorite entertainment content. shocked

You say wetin? For where. grin

Nah, that's mekaprime's forte. grin All the movies I'm seeing this period borders from outright trash to barely decent/average. I can't waste my precious data for such, besides I got tons of top notch oldies to catch up to.

The only thing which seems decent to me or manageable is A whisker Away and Artemis Fowl.

Living in Bondage: Breaking Free ....... 6/10

This was a predictable Nollywood film and I hated the ridiculous Premise. Acting most times was Plastic-like or unconvincing. The Only person who pulled off Acting like it was nothing was veteran boss Ramsey Nouah. The rest were meh.

The Cinematography was top notch, a massive improvement from Nollywood, I was quite surprised and impressed. The Scenery was lit. And the Cars, yep pretty much added some points to it.
The film could have been better but the ending seemed rushed. Imagine ending a film with about 10mins of screentime. Funny people were even teasing a Sequel. grin

Imagine this was the film hyped by Nollywood to the high heavens breaking and setting records left right. Ok. Next joke pls. It's almost no different from Africa Magic Epic albeit with a better budget and camera equipment and technique, also some BIG stars/veterans.

#next from Nollywood— October 1 and Merrymen 2. undecided

cheesy. I'm still preoccupied with the old movies i ed. I've gone through that netnaija Hollywood movies catalogue & i would advise on the following:

Movies that are a total waste of MB IMHO
-Top Gunner
-Kill mode
-Devil 's Night : Dawn of the Nain Rouge
-Four kids & it
-Selfie Dad
-You should have left
-Looks that kill
-I am vengeance: Retaliation ( Every Vinnie Jones movie are unwatchable)
-Dad's( A slow burn drama, probably going to bore one to death)
-Maximilian/Assassin's Game( From the trailer, cinematography is an eyesore & acting horrible)
-2 minutes of Fame(I'd gladly , seems to me like 97mins of pain)
-Tainted( Very cliché, I'd gladly )
-The Eastern Front (No comment here, just avoid)
-Legacy
-Artemis Fowl( Seems like a very poor version of the Spy Kids)
-The Point of No Return
-Sniper: Assassin's End
-The last Days of American Crime
-Darkness Falls.
-Hidden Orchard Mysteries (I am a fan of Mystery & Crime but I'd gladly on this)

Movies i might give a try.
-Magic Kids- Three unlikely heroes ( I kinda like the Harry Potter vibes)
-Feel the Beat( seems like a good dance movie for the kids)
-A Solder's Revenge
-Wasp Network
-Irresistible ( I would see this cause of Steve Carell)

Movies I'd give a try
-Force of Nature (plot seems cliché, though I'd give this one a try cause of Mel Gibson & Kate Bosworth).
The Blackout ( From the trailer, it looks quite promising)
Eurovision song contest: The Story of Fire Saga( I fancy musicals & i am a fan of the big man, Will Ferrell)

Nice review, you mirrored my thoughts exactly. The ending is Nollywood for you. They'd literally spend lots of precious time building up the climax, only to resolve it in 2 minutes or less & haphazardly.

Alter Ego - 3.6/10

The storyline itself had soooo much potential, I thought they had some good ideas but it was executed very poorly. Pacing was rushed, they were just jumping from scene to scene with minimal explanation resulting in a very choppy and confusing flow. Too many 'big' events occurring, with no fleshed-out explanation for why and how we got there lol, throughout the movie I was like 'just like that?'

And I like Omotola but I found her acting only slightly better than terrible...too forced, how tf did she win that AMVCA award for it (lol who am I kidding, we know these things are more about politics than merit)

I'm disappointed because the plot idea itself was genuinely good lol

IP man is a real person but most of the events surrounding the franchise are fiction.

I that the mentioned "alter ego" in the movie, but the whole concept wasn't even well explained so I kept asking why even being it up?
Another thing that bothered me about the movie was the abuse of drone shots. Almost all outdoor scenes had a drone shot which became quite irritating after a while.

It's been long since I watched the movie sha.
