Just sceptical that the screen might break while trying to fix it thats why i didn't fix it.

My iPhone X.'s screen shattered so I changed it but the face unlock doesn't work any more . I have spent a lot on the phone repairing it . Someone told me that the repairer probably used a fake screen that's why it's acting up . I don't really know what to do.

the screen has no business with face unlock,the earpiece flex that connects the faceID is connected to the board directly buy only hangs on the screen frame.weather your screen is original or not,it shouldn’t affect the Face ID.I have see so many issues like this so is not a matter of screen.i am afraid if the ear speaker is working there is little to be done about the faceID unless the ear piece too is not working.anyway you can still bring it for check up/possible solution.you don’t pay if ur Face ID doesn’t work so there is no cost for trying.

It's risky changing the charging port, so I have factored all these risks in. What if the screen break? So What price are you willing to sell last?
