Hey guys! I don't know what's wrong with my new device Each time I'm browsing and I decide to minimize and then return back a few seconds after, the page reloads again. Yeah I know it's normal for a browser page to reload but not less than 20 seconds than you minimized it and return back there I noticed other apps on my phone do not do that nonsense even if I keep them open for hours, only browsers do that in a few seconds- Chrome, Brave and PHX. I even ed UC Mini Browser and it seemed to be different for a few hours until it ed the refresh gang What manner of annoying web page refresh is this? Note: Infinix S5 Pro is 6GB and it's super fast. I have only ed a few apps in it What could be the problem guys? |

Ram management is very poor on such device. Never spend more than 30k on some devices but una no go hear after una go begin ask questions

henrylowe: Yes. Really bad ram management. Don't let 6GB of RAM fool you. RAM is not a determinant for speed, even though there are high frequency memory modules (1600MHz), they probably cut corners and put a low frequency module(933MHz) . The SoC (Helio P35) which is already not suited to heavy multitasking plus a poor software (XOS) from Infinix is a recipe for your predicament. You're left to wait for Infinix to release an update to fix your problem so you'll have to bear with it. By track record, you might get a fix soon but I wouldn't hold my breathe. 9 Likes |

henrylowe:Don't bother, they'll just factory reset your phone or flash it and say they changed the (depends on where you at). Options for you is to look for a lightweight browser, clear browser data and cache like a mad man or sell the phone and buy one that'll handle apps and tasks with ease. 2 Likes |

I advice you update the app, and if there is a software OTA update, and apply it. There is also a lock on every app that keeps them from dying in background. Also ensure your device is not in battery saver mode. I hope this was helpful. 1 Like |

Lol, even people wey no get phone go dey bad mouth... @OP, while i can't say specifically what the problem is, i still have one infinix hot 2 pro, with 2gb ram, that the browser works normally and doesn't auto refresh, I can as well open more than 4 browsers (opera mini, ucweb, chrome, dolphin, puffin all at desktop mode sometimes) at a time, and there will still be no issue... just try and clear cache from browsers, you can clean your memory as well through file explorer (this will clear other caches and junks from your phone)... if you don't mind losing saved pages on your browser, you can as well clear the accumulated data... or better still, sell your phone to me.
