Take another Jamb and go for your dream course. You can do that while you're still in your current institution.

When the ission is secured, you can approach your parents again. Seeing that you already have ission for your course of choice will sound good to them and they will easily consent to it than you not having any other ission but want to abandon the one you have already.

You might need to do the Jamb and post Jamb with your savings.
