I had initially suggested this name to SH but it was rejected.Just two weeks ago,I reqested for review of five rejected names.Amazingly, three out of the five names were approved.

Two went live excluding CureVast. I waited for it to go live but it never did.Just when I was about to for clarification,I received a mail from Jessica that the name had sold via SH-Afternic synchronization.

It sold without even a logo!

I just received the fund in my GTB via Payoneer at a wonderful exchange rate of 382 per Dollar.

The buyer of curevast.com must have made his research before dropping is $1699. The difference is that, "cure" is a hot keyword than "vast".

Yes, predominantly Brandables.I tried Geo a couple of times without success.The few offers I got never pulled through.So,my preference lies with Brandables.

The idea is to understand what works for you and stick to it. Initially, l used to get many rejections from SH but with persistence,the acceptance rate has gradually increased to 13.2 percent.

I noticed that most insight you need to boost your acceptance rate on SH lies on the platform.
Study Newly ed names,go to Leader board and check the portfolio of top sellers to have a feel of what works for them. By so doing, you'd have a better understanding.

There are so many factors that come into play in keyword placement but it is the end that will make final decision. SH is very good at breaking brandable rules & getting away with it. The norm doesnt work in SH.

I know, I don't base my judgements on BOT appraisal. I just mentioned GoDaddy appraisal to drive out a point.
What you are telling me now is that, because vastcure was used by a local brand in Bangladesh,
Vastcure.com cannot be used in USA. Let's assume the buyer is from US.

Payment processing was equally handled by SH as I never had any interface with Afternic throughout the sales process. SH only notified me.

I am sure you would have said the same thing about Microsoft when it was just starting out. After all, SoftMicro seems to make more sense than MicroSoft. In 20 years, if CureVast becomes a major brand in the medical/healthcare industry, your keyword placement will pale into insignificance. When it comes to brandables, the unusual often becomes the usual. Uniqueness is arguably what makes brandables brandables.

Because when one of my names on SH sold on Afternic, I dealt with Afternic right off the bat till when the funds hit my dom . I was even the one that notified SH about the sale.

VastCure fits the norm as per keyword placement.

CureVast does not, its an exception to the brandable rules.

Its not because Cure is a hotter keyword, thats why the name sold. An end does not know what hot or cold keyword is, thats the domainer's business. There are lots of name that doesnt fit the norm in of keyword placement and other brandable rules that are in SH. Those are the kind of names that sell there. Go through their contest result you will see what i mean.

It appears most folks patronizing SH are individuals that just want a name for their company, so they go by what they feel and all of that. go through contest brief to see this too. while for BB, BP and the others, professional that are into brands/branding, go there or advise their clients to go there. you see names that are curated to fit most of branding rules
