The Kwara State Government has confirmed two cases of Coronavirus in the state.

This was announced in a statement by Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, who also doubles as spokesperson for the technical committee on COVID-19, Rafiu Ajakaye.

This is coming days after the index case of the virus died.

The state government however, denied the index case.

One of the two cases recorded include wife of the index case while the second person is a returnee from the United Kingdom.

"Kwara State Technical Committee on COVID-19 sadly confirms two separate cases of COVID-19 in the state.

"One is the wife of the UITH patient, a UK returnee, who died last Thursday and the other is another UK returnee," the statement read.

The government is set to address residents of the state on measures to be taken to tackle the spread of the virus.

E get as e be o..

For over a week now, even before the death of the patient, there was this news going round like a rumour that the man had the virus..but Unilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) and the useless ever reactive state Government came out to debunk it!

Now see where we are!

And to think some Ilorin Alfas went about deceiving the Muslims there that covid-19 will never enter Ilorin because the town is next to aljanah. grin grin grin.

And to think the illiterate market women there swallowed it up hook line and sinker to the extent of abusing and taunting anyone that wears face mask. grin grin grin

Chai! Illiteracy is a disease.

The government was trying to hide it from the populace, the index case was bathed and prayed upon, the wife has been receiving condolence visit since the index case died. UITH medical team have also been exposed because the index didn’t disclose he was a UK returnee, so many facts hidden but May the Lord heal our land.

On behalf of all Muslims of the igbo descent, I sympathize with the good people of kwara state for their travails at the moment. I want to assure them that we will them in this trying time because their grief is our grief and their travails our travails.

Who is going to sit down and let someone do their hair after this media driven hysteria.
Please let me wake up from this twilight zone episode. Don’t you dare go overboard on extension of stay at home order. Be realistic! People need to get back to life and work.. we can’t be held prisoners much longer! Stay in line with Federal guidelines! 5G is killing them. And alot of us will go with so called cure. Elderly will be wiped out. First. Then people that won't take bill gates injection. God bless you all.

The news has been going round since last week but they keep denying it.
I do hope the professor of medicine(Professor Kazeem Alakija Salami) who shielded the patient and gave him home treatment will be brought to book, as well as the CMD of UITH.
May God punish everyone involved in the cover up. They ended up exposing doctors, nurses and a thousand others.

The people of Offa especially are the most exposed because the corpse of the index case was taken to Offa for burial and lots of people went to sympathise with the family.
