It will cost the federal government of Nigeria a total of 800 billion naira to pay 40 million BVN holders a total of 20,000 Naira. Nigerians have been clamouring for the federal government of Nigeria to pay Nigerian citizens some money to help the citizens to cope properly during this Coronavirus pandemic which have plagued the country so far. Most state governments have made it mandatory for people to sit at home for some weeks. Some state governments have even gone ahead to instigate a total lockdown in their states. Watch the video http://maetrimal.com/FT9 During this Lockdown, people will not be able to work. So many Nigerians depend on their daily earnings to survive. If they don't go out to work in a day, they won't be able to fend for themselves and their families. Nigerians have been asking the federal government to pay them some money during this period. It is estimated that it will cost the Nigerian government a total of 800 billion naira to pay a total of 40 Million BVN holders 20,000 naira each. I am not sure that everyone will be paid. That is the main reason why the Nigerian government insists that it will only pay the poorest individuals in the country. 2 Likes |

Why donate to fg when you can easily take care of your immediate Community. No wonder someone said those contributing to fg are hypocrites

Okay you say #800 billion will pay 40 million ed bvn 20k.. Here is my own analysis if at all it will happen., let's assume the population of Nigeria is 200 million, with 1billion naira you can share 5k to 200 million persons in Nigeria. so how come 40 million persons will need 800 billion naira to receive 20k? 3 Likes |

johnmartus:But our billions can be used to pay for hundreds of lawmakers to buy 2020 Toyota's that some of them won't drive ![]() It is true our reserves can't be used to pay 20k to Nigerians because we don't even need to use from that. Take for example the $2bn a particular government siphoned to win "ordinary" elections that nobody felt. Now we're talking about something that can end horribly for many Nigerians and you're saying this country don't have the money pay its citizens $2.2billion dollars as palliatives ![]() Come on people. Open your eyes and recognize your enemies. Use this time to reflect and dare to dream!!! 2 Likes 1 Share |
