anyone seen yet what the fuss is about Jude Bellingham?
|
afrodoc2: 3:09pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
ChristineC: Not me. He is 16 and physically developed enough to play in the championship, but i have not seen a special skill set. |

afrodoc2:Ryan sessegnon 2.0 |
afrodoc2: 4:36pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
iamoyindamola: Very possible. I haven't seen impressive ing range or excellent technique from him, just that at 16 he is strong enough to mix it with the men. Well those are scouts who do this for a living, so maybe there is something they are seeing that we can't. |
ChristineC: 5:20pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
afrodoc2:... and for the acclaimed £50m it's not in tune with how Ole has recruited so far. I just hope someone 'big' is not pushing buttons here. |
afrodoc2: 5:47pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
ChristineC: They are just looking for an English maga to swindle. More likely destination for him would be Dortmund for 20m. I would save that money and use it elsewhere cos we have a number of decent young midfielders in the youth setup coming through that need an opportunity. 3 Likes |

ChristineC:Nothing special in that kid from the clips I have watched and reviews. Garner and Levitt over him. |
timay(m): 6:00pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
afrodoc2: Dortmund won't even buy a 16 yr old for 20 million. |
spillo1: 6:48pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
patrickmuf: How exactly are they over him? Bellingham is already playing at a higher standard of football at 16. Bellingham is technically superb and is considered one of the biggest talents in his age group. He is better than both currently. |
afrodoc2: 7:03pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
spillo1: Reading the game, ing range, decision making translate very well to the senior game for a midfielder. Running through a crowded midfield (which appears to be his biggest asset) not so much. I see a potential Ross Barkley in the boy. I might be wrong though. |
spillo1: 7:19pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
timay:Dortmund paid city 8million for Sancho which at that time was a lot for an unproven player. Bellingham is currently at a level higher than that at 16 in of him already being a starter . I know it's not a like for like comparison but they would absolutely buy him for 20million. Championship talents are going for 20-30 million these days. Even real Madrid paid 40million for a 16yrs old with only 17mins of senior team football. |

Yeah right

afrodoc2:which of the Ross Barkley Chelsea or Everton ![]() ![]() I'm seeing a sessegnon in this boy the one in Fulham was better then the one in spurs |
spillo1: 7:37pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
afrodoc2: Not at all. Even though his physical ability is mad for a 16yrs he has those abilities as well. His decision making is top notch. Bellingham is a special player. Most people will describe him as a young Pogba with better tackling and without the shooting ability. |
patrickmuf(m): 7:44pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
spillo1:Garner in the Championship will be rated higher. When you say Bellingham is technically superb, what exactly do you mean? How is his ing? Dribbling? defending? And so on... |
Ravioli(m): 7:47pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
Hmmmm.. Bellingham bawo |
spillo1: 7:55pm On Mar 28, 2020 |
patrickmuf:You draw your conclusion that Garner will rated higher from what exactly? His ing and dribbling is good. His decision making and defending especially tackling is top notch. |

All this yarn about Bellingham bla bla ,it's not as if he will enter Man utd first team if they buy him. Na U23 team he go dey. We even have guys like Garner and co , especially Garner who might even be Technically better but because he is not getting Senior team football we can't rate him yet. I'm sure they are even planning to loan out some of these guys, (Garner included) by next season that is why they are looking for a Bellingham to replace them in the U23. So like I said before, he might not be better than the Garner and Levitt that we have. The downside about all this young fast players is that, if they are rushed and not allowed to develop the technical aspects of their game, they become useless when they get older and their speed burns out in their mid and late 20s because the only thing they could do is just to run with the ball and use strength. They were not intelligent and didn't develop the tactical side of their game and they are used to speed. Example is Young, Valencia, Aaron Lennon, Walcott. These players only use their speed and Athleticism, when those things burn out as they got older, they became useless. Example of Technical players are Paul Scholars and Giggs. Giggs was a speedster and at the sr time sn intelligent and technical player. Despite getting old, he was still very relevant and was still pulling the strings from the wings even without his speed. He relied more on his intelligence on the ball and didn't have to run like a mad dog any longer. If he was not intelligent, he would have gone into oblivion a long time ago when he got slower. 1 Like |

Timay Bellingham won’t agree to come to Utd and play for the U-23s when he’s already a starter. Dan James didn’t. Edited. |

eph12:LooL. You didn’t get me. Bellingham won’t AGREE to come and play for Utd U-23 when he’s already a starter in the Championship. |

Heck, I’d take Hannibal Mejbri over Jude Bellingham. Both 16 y o. Both midfielders. Bellingham is stronger but Mejbri is way more talented.

Watching some Paul Scholes games My no 1 midfield player of all time. 499 Games in EPL (321 WINS, 72 LOSSES) 107 Goals (NO PK) 55 Assist 718 total games with 155 goals. My toughest opponent? Scholes of Manchester. He is the complete midfielder. Scholes is undoubtedly the greatest midfielder of his generation... There is no doubt for me that he [Paul Scholes] is still in a class of his own. He's almost untouchable in what he does. I never tire of watching him play. You rarely come across the complete footballer, but Scholes is as close to it as you can get. One of my regrets is that the opportunity to play alongside him never presented itself during my career.
