brother, there is nothing like things have changed. Its a normal thing for senators to get slots during mass recruitment like this. Even the CG have his slots too. They see it as a normal thing in naija. Let's just pray God to be favoured and linked up with the right person that could help us get the job.

The truth is that it doesn't take them anything to release the list today. The exam was cbt and it makes it even easier. There's no better explanation to this. The longer it takes, the more u come to the realisation that their taking their time to do their "background work"

Publishing the list of successful candidates before the next stage is not as easy as many think, yes the CBT results can be gotten instantly but it's not the only factor considered, before list is published its gonna be carefully sorted and ranked on state basis, course of study etc.
Even if one scores over 90% he/she might not make the list while someone else with lesser score could be shortlisted, it all depends on the parameters used (course of study, state of origin, certification, etc).
It's better they take their time and do a thorough job that will be judged free and fair at the end of the day rather than rushing it thus compromising the integrity of the process, at least from the first stage of shortlisting for the exams everyone that met their criteria was shortlisted for the exam that stage was transparent despite it taking a very long time. Those that sat for the nddc scholarship exams can testify to this that rushing the process might not be the best approach, so relax and pray you make the list that's the most important thing.

I keep saying integrity, morality etc and all of these virtues should be measured in degrees. Yes the CG is known with his integrity but then, he only appoints those he trusts, he cannot completely oversee the affairs of the entire process. We can only say a good number of qualified candidates might be taken based on the mechanisms that might have been put in place by the CG to curb the excesses of manipulation. But saying no slot, no magomago in customs scares me. It shows u might commit suicide when u see the outcome.

The recruitment has being outsourced to a private consulting firm this is to make the process as transparent and independent of any interference as possible, what most of you here don't know is that in your various test centres you guys where under the watchful eyes of a CCTV cam all the feeds where relayed to a central situation room(if you have access to any staff of those centres you did your test you
can go and ask them).
I'm not here to hype the CG but those that are working close to him (try and ask any senior custom officer they will tell you the kind of person he is, that's why they don't like him). He even had an altercation with the Minister of finance which he is supposed to be answerable to, according to an insider he said if the presidency interferes he will resign ( a civilian staff in Custom HQ said it).
The process might not be 100% perfect but even if anybody wants to help you, you must participate in the process and at least perform above average to stand any chance for a little push. As far as this 3200 slot is considered save this post for reference purposes just like I said during registration last year this particular exercise will be the most transparent, if you don't make it, you yourself will know that people who succeeded performed better.
