Now that the Lagos state Government have banned the operations of Okada and Keke, there is a high demand for transportation using minibuses.

I live in a densely populated part of Lagos and i see how people trek every blessed day because the available minibuses cannot meet the demand.

I am seriously considering beginning a hire purchase business model with minibuses, but there are pressures from different quarters that the okada-keke ban be lifted so i want to give it a few months to know the exact state of things.

Nonetheless, let us consider brainstorming the various aspects of this business.

Go for it, I was at Oba Akran Ikeja yesterday. People were trekking from Ikeja to Agege, Ogba , Alausa. The few buses could not take the numerous people at the bus stops.

Car owners also assisted the stranded engers

Can Personal Income Tax for a contract worker who is earning monthly but his contract duration is less than one year be calculated on pro rata basis? Would it not be unfair to multiply someone who earns like #700k monthly (for a 6 months contract) by 12 i.e pa and use the Personal income Template outlined by the FIRS? Seeing the person is earning per contract duration and not annually, can his PAYE be calculated based on gross earnings for the contract duration? Please I need ur inputs .

PAYE for an employee is paid based on the number of months he/she has worked.

So go through a standard employment process just like company employing company drivers.

That process removes touts, and gives you people you can hold their degrees and give rules and they will follow.
