What To Do To Make Money Online? (4365205 Views)

Listed some domains on Afternic a few weeks back and I discovered they've been on pending review since. Customer care doesn't seem to be responding. Who's experienced this and how can it be resolved? |

1Dray: Thanks for the heads-up. These Zenith folks are just exploitative. Access Bank also offered (or offers) a better rate when withdrawing USD via their ATMs. Ramon92: That's one of the problems I have with Afternic. In fact, after finally listing names, they sometimes switch them back to 'not listed' status and you will not know until when next you . I have repeatedly asked why this happens, but they always ignored that question. How I wish there's a better alternative. |

UrVillagePpl: To make your first sales, you need to do two things: 1. Stop buying domains; 2. Start reading. You can start from this thread. At least the first 100 pages. For the one you've got, you should take it for a learning experience. Here's what you're going to do: Get an on Afternic, if you haven't done so. List it there. List on Dan/Epik and change the name server accordingly. Forget you ever bought that domain and move on. And NEVER buy that kind of domain name. Reasons: It looks like you're targeting the Real Estate niche, and it's easier to pull a fang from the mouth of a baby mosquito than to get those guys to part with money. They are all bloody, HARDENED deal BREAKERS in that niche. It's what they do. And the 'USA' suffix attached to the domain name makes it a very broad, and potentially USELESS domain name. It is too generic for a Geo domain. Next time, stick to CITIES. And it's always a good idea for your geo-location to come before the product or service attached to it. Wish you more luck than I've had. 19 Likes 1 Share |

2sexycom: Wow, "Traineen" sounds like Trainee with an "n" which makes it a nice brandable term (Which can be used by a Training Agency, Talent scout network, A training tool app or even a Job recruitment program.). It also sounds like the real word "Training" which can be used for a lot of this as a brandable term too. (Goodluck on that one boss) About "Homesprint" it happens all the time, you got to move on going forward and hopefully to stumble on a better name sef ![]() Peace ![]() 12 Likes |

priceaction:you can't even get your hand on such domain bro. Backlink domains don't even make it to closeout and they are bought at 4 figures regularly at Godaddy. But if you can get it, you have a winner. But make sure its not a domain with negative record on Google. Website Flipping is profitable if you do it well. Do you use elemento? It's a great plugin but I am planning to use Divi for my next venture, towards the end of this or mid year. Do we have expert SEO content writer here? 10 Likes |

Ramon92: Happens a lot, if it does, just remove the name and relist it. If it persist, you can then send a mail to their (they will fix it without giving you any notification) |

Good morning negotiators in the house, So I got my first offer after going back and forth with the reply not more than $75. My initial offer was for $250. Here's the thing though. The interested has the same domain but in singular. He asked why he should buy mine when he already has it in singular. I told him it would be wise to acquire it than his competitors doing so. What do you guys think I should counter offer him with? Thank you as you make your contributions. 1 Like |

1Dray: Sorry, did you arrive at that rate after adding the $3.15 ATM withdrawal fee or it's exclusive of it? |

1Dray:Sorry if I got you wrong. But when did Access Bank start paying at N340. I received at N336 throughout last year. Same few days ago. (Bank Transfer) |

slumbee:He is a good potential buyer. Am sure he is interested in the name but trying to play smart. He will come back and purchase it after some time. Don't accept the $75 except you need money urgently |

iCauseTrouble: He may or may not increase his offer for the name. Compare what you bought the name for and how much you may loose if he doesn't respond to you again. From there, you should be able to know exactly what to do! It's far better to be safe than to be sorry. It's all up to you finally. 2 Likes |

Good morning people, Biko, what is the best payment option to use with Dan? I know they charge 9% commission. What about bank transfer charges? |

iCauseTrouble: I know right? He is the only one who has replied after sending outbound mails. The previous owner of the domain just reads the mail and never replies. I'm thinking $100, fair enough? |
