I will do tuberculosis test on the 27th December and apply for Ukvi afterwards and I still want to do standard visa, because I don't have money for priority.

Please I want to know if I am safe.

My school resumes on 27th of January with extension period til 17th of February.

You better start saving money for priority if you don't want story...

Please understand the differences, UKVI does not overlook a pound.
You got your Visa fee refunded because you or the applicants had not done biometrics.
Even if it is Buhari, the moment he does biometrics, UKVI is not liable to refund a dime.

Not necessarily. They seem to be overlooking so many things nowadays. I made a mistake with my son's application, I wrote his last port number instead of the current one. I cancelled the application immediately and did another, paid and they got the visas. like 3 weeks after, I got application fees payment refunded, oya pay IHS, no show. 6th week, I had to pay £5+ again to send them a mail. They responded and apologized and said I should get it in 15 working days.. I responded and told them the fund was needed urgently. 298k+ hanging for almost two months...
Same way I paid for priority and still waited for 15 days more. The things we are made to go through in the Country ehn...

No, it isn't. If that thing is so important and essential to your application, you can try ing ukvi.

you can call ukvi on Monday and also try calling the VAC where u had your biometrics ( even though they may not be able to help but they can advice you on what you need to do)...but your best option is to call ukvi asap

If the 28 day fund withholding period, doesn't fall within that page, don't sweat it.

However, if it's a page somewhere in-between and its absence would make the statements disorderly, you can attempt ing UKVI as suggested

Wow. Mine is about 500k plus hanging in there for IHS fee of three and half years. Even the mail I sent them after paying £5 plus, I haven't got a response.
It's really sad. I called their phone lines as their website indicated, I should call if I don't get a reply after two days of mailing. This is about the 10th week after the denial. How long more am I expected to wait for something that should be an auto- reversal.

Unfortunately, there is no auto-reversal with these folks.
I know someone who sent countless emails, but had to wait for over 13 weeks before IHS was refunded.

Opening balance down to the 30th day. Closing balance date should not be more than one month to your visa application

I graduated since 2008 but couldn't go to higher institution because of sponsorship. Been working since then and I now own my own ed limited company and making decent money. My SOA is close to 7m and I can still be making money from my business even if I am in school. I am married with a kid, been rejected by a couple of schools abroad because of the age and school gap.

Some stories here would clear that.
UK ission is the easiest if you follow their simple guideline.
Lot of schools would give you ission if you are convincing as well because the might ask a cover letter attached to your ission.
- Start from Google and search schools that offer your intended course.
- 7M would pay your Tuition but it won't be enough to show UKVI for Tuition and Maintenance.
- Read this thread thoroughly to get a grasp and ask questions, its simple yet very complicated but I am sure UKVI does not judge you if you are a genuine student.
You have to be convincing that's all.

So I called ukvi today...and was told decision has been made...not told the outcome ( wasn't expecting them to anyway)... should I wait for the email before I go to VAC?

Just so you factor it in.
An undergrad cannot go to the UK with dependants.

Have you decided the course you want to study? If yes ring the course enquiry team of the university of interest and explain to them your situation stating why you have left it till now. They will most likely ask for a cover letter / personal statement which must be very convincing to grant the ission.

From what I have read so far, we should be expecting something by Monday or Tuesday.

Just because they said 5 working days doesn't mean it's exactly that 5 working days

I ve be tracking my own and it's still on the third stage, hopefully by Monday something positive will come out
