Abeg let the law take its course until proven otherwise by appeal. If only Orji Uzor Kalu made legitimate money then all these could not have happened.

If it was built from the gains of looted money.... Then, it should be taken down.... We shouldn't be insensitive to issues... We should imagine what people whom the looted money was meant to change their lives is ing through.... Some communities don't have drinkable water.... No electricity. I want SUNnewspaper to go down.. 2 Likes |

The conviction of Uzor Kalu has nothing to do with The Sun Newspaper. Justice Idris convicted and sentenced, Mr Kalu, the first defendant. Udeh Udeogu, Second defendant, who was Director of Finance and s at the Abia State Government House and held that Slok Nigeria Limited, the third defendant, be wounded up and all assets forfeited to the federal government. The case with The Sun Newspaper is quite different from this. According to the media house "It is on record that there is a pending appeal at the Supreme Court with suit no: SC/546/2018 wherein The Sun Publishing Limited appealed against the judgment delivered by the Court of Appeal on the interim forfeiture order made against it by a Federal High Court in 2007 based on ex-parte proceeding. "The notice of appeal and motion for stay of execution were duly served on EFCC by the bailiffs of the court. "Again, it is instructive to state that The Sun Publishing Limited was not a party to the case of EFCC vs Orji Uzor Kalu and two others, so we do not see why the judgment in that case should lead to an attempt to seal The Sun Publishing Limited premises". This is the basis for Sheu Sani's appeal, don't get it twisted. |

What has Femi Adesina got to say about his immediate past employer's ordeal? He was the Managing Editor of the Sun Newspaper before his current appointment. He has been taunting Nigerians from the first day in his current job; calling NIgerians wailers etc. It would be interesting to hear from him at this trying period in the life of his previous employer where he earned income for many years. |
