The problem with people going against Napolitano is that their source couldn't give them a logical and methodical info as to this recruitment other than "if you haven't collected TFare, APL is sure for you" "Contract staff are being considered, and they may cancel the whole process" "NNPC don't need new employee, they'll rather retain all contract staff" blah blah...

It's no more a matter of peeps desiring or falling for positive news (it's human nature), what beats me is the rate at which some people are quick to come up with their own sauce pan.

Dude... Take a chill Pill; it hasn't gotten to this. Most of us should just learn to ignore if we're not comfortable with any info whatsoever whether legit or otherwise..... Afterall, APL will come out when it will regardless.

Production can run round the clock but HR, , SCM, IT as well as a couple of other functions can wind-up a few days to the year end. What you have in most cases is just a Hand-Full of individuals in such departments being present just in case while the bulk of them would have traveled.

Chief, I totally Understand Your point of view but the bone of contention here is whether or not certain operations can wind-off during year end. Is it possible for operations to continue on the interim? The Answer is Yes.... Is it also possible for there to be a halt on the interim? Absolutely.... As long as such operations do not interfere with Production, Sales and certain other major functionalities, then they could be tweaked at least to certain extent.

HR et al are only s, if they decide to halt the recruitment now to proceed in the new year, It will not put the Company in jeopardy, that's the point I'm trying to make....

NB: I would totally absolutely love for APL to drop before year end.....

NNPC will definitely try to expend/accrue as much of the money earmarked for this recruitment as they can from the 2019 budget in order not to lose it. The only way they can do this is to conclude the process before the 31st of December, 2019 to justify the accruals. My thoughts though.
