I bought this zealot s12 bluetooth speaker on jumia.

It has been serving me for months now.
Something happened this early morning as am typing this,
I wanted to plug in the charger ,I mistakenly plugged in the charger mouth on its usb port instead of the dc input port.

I can hear the burn smells, I think its damaged.

Is there any way u can repair it?

It refuses to play sound though it connects to my device successfully.
And also the blue light that comes on when it's on has refused to come on..

Please ans helping hand will be greatly appreciated.

Am gonna be stuck with my earpiece for a while and I fear for my ear because I know how I listen to my music.

yes it can be repaired. they will change the ic that got built.

Its an honest mistake anyone can do.

Dunno if it can be fixed. If not, just playing your music on Loudspeaker till you are able to get another one. Using earpiece regularly is not too healthy for your ears.

I bought it roughly 17k in jumia..

I have looked closely on it, no where I can see a tighter knot or screw..

If I can ship it abroad to the company, I will..I have emailed the zealot company. Who knows when they will reply.
This shiit is eating me honestly,

as for op, es it can be fixed. but it might cost you a fortune.

The whole motherboard() may need to be changed
The charge from the power connector can be considered a surge enough to kill the chipset, if it had gone through the USB 2.0/3.0 ports.

thank you for the , I really hope I can get it fixed, because I just plugged mine to my 18w charger and it charged for some seconds and it stopped, at first I thought it was my charger not firmly fit to the socket until I test it with my phone and it charged my phone, then I plugged bluetooth again, and no sign of charge, I tried to ON it but it didn't turn ON, then smelled it, lol and behold it just got burnt.
