Have anyone notice that in Android phones when they say it's 1Gb ram is it's actually divided to 516 mb meaning out of the 1Gb ram u have just free 516mb ram lol when u haven't installed any apps
1GB ram = 516mb ram
4GB ram = 1.4 or 1.4 GB ram

It's not fake ram. Android uses a certain percentage of ram at all times to run it's OS, even while phone is sleeping. That's why u can never get full 4gb free on a 4gb ram phone

a phone is labelled 2gb ram, but u checked and saw the real internal is 1gb. That's different from a phone labelled 2gb ram and when checked u see 950mb free ram. Enough said

How would you feel if you want to make a call and you search for a contatct and then the phone call app keeps rolling and rolling and rolling just to show the name? Or you want to launch an app and the phone freezes just to get things in place so the app can launch?..........

On boot, your android, iPhone, pc, Mac....all load programs in to the ram to make life easy for you.

The OS uses your RAM.

1GB RAM is installed for use.
A lot of system applications are loaded unto it when you boot your phone, making it easy to access them.
Instead of doubting the RAM size needlessly, check out the running applications in your phone and how much they are consuming.
Aside the phone's OS, You have additional apps like Dialler, s (may include Truecaller), Messages, Settings, Security apps, Interface, Live Wallpaper, Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, and other social apps, Browser, Screen Lock, Clock, Weather and Calender widgets even some suspended games running and you expect it not to impact on free RAM available?

This is from a Note 9 6GB ram. You will notice the OS and apps takes up half the ram's total size which is usually the case in all phones.
