My mum and some kindred took him to federal neuropsychiatric hospital Enugu where he spent one week and ran back to village. Though I spent over 60,000 during the period he was itted there. We were thinking he will get better but he wasn't. A lot told us it is something spiritual. my parent visited some prayer house and they told them my brother is afflicted because they want to inherit my father's lands.

They went to a church today at Enugu and the pastor told them to bring 100,000 before he can do anything. is salvation not free again? my daddy has no amount of money and he already called me to send it which I won't send because that pastor sound so dubious. Giving him the money is not even the problem but what if he just collect the money and nothing changes?

I'd advice you do everything in your power to ensure that your father's land is not lost.

Don't be quick to assumption. Table all possibilities before you reach any conclusion.
Check if your brother smokes, check the work he does in Minna and the people he associated with. Explain the situation to these people, they might have useful information.

It may be best you bring him to Yaba or Aro in Abeokuta if there's nothing your side. You can simply rent a cheap room somewhere in Ikorodu or Akute area.

It may be stress of a profitless business that he is in. He may feel bad that you've spent so much and nothing is coming out or that he is not making it and feels frustrated.

I'm not that superstitious but truth be told, spiritism exist. If you suspect that's the case, perhaps end the land feud on the condition that your brother improves. They can keep land while you can have a healthy brother. If however your brother gets no better, then it may simply be a chemical imbalance in the brain.

Please note that for many, mental health issues arise when they become adults. That may be your brother's case. I hope with good treatment, he is able to recover

I am not advertising Church, But your story touched me. If you can come to Port-Harcourt visit Omega Power Ministries (OPM), you don't need to see the pastor to pray for you, just take assignment and it's done. It's not the only Solution
to your brothers problem, but this is surely the solution. No payment, all you need is prayers.

Sorry for the lost of your kid brother. As for your brother with mental illness, have you try to ask from his friends over there in Minna if your brother uses to use drug? I think this is important before you concluded that someone inflicted him because of your father's landed properties.

What was the diagnosis at the federal neuropsychiatric hospital Enugu (the hospital was just about 5 mins walk from where I lived in New Haven). Find out who his circle of friends were, when he was in Minna. Was your brother ever chemically dependent?

If you are in Enugu,look for any branch of Greater liberation City or better still go to their headquarters in Lagos OR the branch in Onitsha.Your case is small.

The pastor your family was proposing to take him to, is he a psychiatrist as well as a pastor? If he doesn't have that qualifications please don't waste your time and money on him. He is simply trying to use the situation to cash in on you and your family... Please go to a doctor and ask if they can recommend a psychiatrist for u..

If u want to go by the spiritual angles too, take him to a psychiatrist first get him examined. you can always invite a pastor to pray for him while he is in care facility.
