I don't know about data zapping on airtel. For glo it depends on your location, so i suggest you test run with #100 sub to be sure. New glo sims are eligible for double data on monthly subs (*777#). Google "glo oga sim" to know more.

Am a novice because it's written 4g on the pack. I noticed it's always on 3g hoping it's the network buhaha. I have to meet the guy that I bought it from to station it to 4g.

Although I got series of alartz and bonuses on 100 recharge.

Am still figuring out how good there network is. Visit office and coming home late still don't give me enough room to notice. But it's always on 3g and the network is average sha.

Next up is how to get affordable mifi.

I was only stating top brands also have OTA issues (even though they have a bottomless testing budget).....

Umidigi has limited funds, out of this limited funds, we still had to prepay for our devices, they still manage to judiciously produce good looking devices at pocket friendly prices and they still try to issue updates, on major faults.......

Please mail them about the proximity sensor bugs. Automatically, when you are on calls and the device near you the screen should go off and when you adjust it away from your body it should come up but the new update only make the sensor to be zombie-like, always off while on call even till when the call ends unless you press the power button to turn on the device. It's not normal. They should remove the big 4G icon, it's so simple to do. They are yet to fix the unstoppable charging, . The camera still need tweaking. Kindly relay this to them to fix it in the next update. They are really trying but as a business enterprise with major competitors, there should be no room for mistakes.

The device is very good for its price. That's what I'm using to type this. Don't look for absolute perfection in a device. Even iPhone do have their issues, as we speak their global sales have dropped down and overtaken by Huawei. Umidigi is a good brand especially with this beautiful arẹwà called a5 pro.

as far as I'm concerned picture quality does not matter to me.... just give me good processor, good network, good call quality and I'm satisfied... my techno with good camera is really frustrating me here... who needs camera sef.

If you're having problem with proximity sensor, screen always off while on calls, go to settings and locate apps section. Locate "sensor hub", clear both cache and data. Don't forget to "force stop" it and reboot your device. Your phone should work properly now.

Send a msg to GloNigeria on twitter to provision ur sim card for 4G, the guy you bought it from cannot do that for you, you have to customer care or else you will not experience the 4G. That's why you're still on 3G
