It was a sad day as captain Ohakwe Egegus Ikechukwu was laid to rest amid tears at his country home in Imo state. The army captain and two other officers, were involved in a ghastly road accident along Makurdi-Lafiya Road at Yelwata, a border town between Benue and Nasarawa states last month. The officers were returning to their base after completing cadre conversion course at the 20 Model Battalion of the Nigeria Army in Serti, Taraba State. His colleagues were at the graveside to pay him their last respects and handed the Nigerian flag to his first son. This is so sad. May his soul rest in peace. Amen
