Simplyleo:You need to be very ashamed of yourself all you saw to talk about in this post is IPOB. Why did buhari fail to bring this project that can produce employment for ppl like you? Answer is dead men don't talk. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Reference:This is definitely sound. Invite BMW or Volkswagen and give them a 10 year tax break and first choice access to the biggest market on the Continent. Maybe even a dedicated power supply from the national grid at dirt cheap rate. But I don't think buhari is thinking that far. We are smarter than our president and it is a problem. 4 Likes 1 Share |

That's what real leaders of countries accomplish for their citizens...bring foreign investments that would create jobs for them. Not in Nigeria, the ones in power are clueless and busy stuffing their pockets with the nations treasuries and have no time to actually work for the people. I have one question for all the sycophants and Buhari apologists on this forum, could you name any people-oriented program enacted to help create jobs for the so many unemployed Nigerians since Buhari istration started? Absolutely NONE! So, how can you come on here and scream on top of your lungs touting the success of this government? I think it is about time that Nigerians focus more and assess a government's success or lack thereof based on the programs that it puts in place to help the citizens and not on the ethnicity. It would be out of norm and character for any citizen living in abject poverty to vote gainst his/her self interest. Rich folks would never do that but you can always count on poor people to a leader who is out to impoverish them simply because they are of the same ethnicity. Let me remind you that a poor man from one ethnic group has more in common with a poor man of different ethnicity; than he has with a rich fellow from his ethnic group. There's nothing for a poor man to gain from a bad leader from the same ethnicity other than the fact that both come from the same area, which really does not provide a roof over his head, put food on his table or send his children to school. Nigerians should view this dichotomy as the poor versus the rich and not any other way. Not until the poor masses unite to fight against the filthy rich crooks, things would never change because they would always use ethnicity as a wedge to divide the people in order to maintain the status quo. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

This is where you need a president like Trump: Locate your plant in Nigeria or Toyota cars are banned . How can Toyota think locating their plant in Ghana is better than Nigeria (with our population and craze for anything Toyota)? Men, that is a hot slap on our leaders and the over 200 million Nigeria. Ghana is just 30million people. Who has bewitched us? |

fokusmind: As citizens of a nation we should begin to educate ourselves on the specifics of what had made us poor and backwards for decades and the immediate steps we need to take to get us out of problems. Any nation facing what we have seen today will be angry, mad that investment is going to a competing neighbour. We need to start getting angry about the right things to progress. Nigeria has upheld the continents economy for long. We have ed the biggest multinationals with a large, viable, profitable opportunity despite our poverty. Every sector from banking, to retail, to telecommunications has Nigeria as their biggest market, yet when it comes to the cream of the crop, the real economic multiplier, manufacturing, they prefer to go somewhere else. It is sad and vexing. Are we a universal toilet, a dumping ground, a use and dump country... Nigerians should realise that no matter how fancy a village market, supermarket or hyper market is, no one sleeps there at the end of the day. Everyone GOES HOME. We cannot prosper being satsified as the market of Africa or the world. We cannot prosper with import/export & general merchandise plc, shop, shop, shop...or ABC & Sons trading company. 1 Like |

TSRC: Bros, youre the delusional one here. You just are incapable of accepting the truth, that is why power continues to evade you and all you can do is cry and whine all day long, period. You are addicted to lies, you will not accept the truth as the truth even if it is glaring in your eyes, you will still blame the govt or a northerner for it. Lesson for you bro, Ojukwu after all his mouth and promise of chukwu Okike Abiama on their side helping them ran away at the end, the same Shagari that you insult as illiterate pardoned him before he can return to Nigeria. You insulted the "Aboki" while living and making your livelihood in northern Nigeria, sang songs of hate and superiority, then claimed you were massacred in numbers. Your hate will only continue to do you harm, but you dont even know it. Continue......... |

Arewa1408:What is this nonsense about? Have you checked the difference in the quality of life in the east and most parts of the north? You dey craze for head. Power kii you there. Abokii. Partially evolved savages. 2 Likes 1 Share |

gabicon:Unfortunately, you are making zero economic sense with this statement of yours. I guess you are trying to shift blame from lame buhari by saying this trend started 20years ago. Do you know the cost of shipping a new or used car from overseas to nigeria? Do you know the cost, corruption and other unnecessary delays just a clear that car from our ports? Now if the said car is assembled in Nigeria, all of those cost won't be payed by the end .making the said car more affordable. Individually, Nigerians are more than capable in buying new card in as much as the prices are not inflated due to external factors. 3 Likes |

TSRC: You see again, you think you're superior to an aboki abi? lol, aboki, that you termed partially evolved savages are your leaders and your ruler, get back in line, nyamiriii. Also, by the way, how come your Ibo governed states with fellow Ibo Governors, with federal allocations, you have not turned it into London and Dubai? How come? Is Aboki responsible for running your states as well? Turn Onitsha or Enugu or Aba into London or Dubai for all to see, then maybe we will believe your big mouth and your claim of ingenuity. |

With each ing day, I become more and more convinced that this country is heading for serious catastrophe. No FDI coming in, population ballooning out of control, infrastructure decaying terribly, insecurity at same level with war torn countries. No single good news about the country. God knows I'm seriously considering selling off my assets and leaving this sh! thole for good. Nigeria will definitely face serious crises in the coming years and I pray to God not to be anywhere close to it by then. Cursed nation of mad people!!! |
