Ndidi picked up a hamstring injury in training last week and missed Leicester City’s 2-1 victory over Sheffield United on Saturday.

Nigeria are scheduled to battle Ukraine during next month's international break at the Dnipro Arena.

"Coach Gernot Rohr has called up PAOK of Greece midfielder Anderson Esiti as replacement for injured Wilfried Ndidi. Brian Idowu has also been added to the list to make it 24 players for Ukraine friendly,” the statement read.

Over the year, I have come across males bearing such names and my conclusion is that most names in Igbo are unisex.

The younger Eberechi Eze would have been a better option for that position. He's got mad skills, blistering pace, and a great work ethic. He is having a great season right now. At this point, there's no need for players who'd just complete the numbers, but those who can add value.

Maybe Rohr saw something in Anderson, let's see what he has in store.
