[quote author=NGpatriot post=81418876] You are basically saying there's lack of development in the SE because of their low debt profile on top of the fact that they are poor and still saddled with poor income in form of IGR. Debt, when used properly, is an instrument for development so, when you are poor and have low IGR, if means you have poor credit ratings and you can not access credit facilities which means lack of development. I sense your bleeding heart.we all know that aside Lagos, which of course owns a high percentage of it's development to South easterners, no other South Western state can compare or compete the south east in of all round development both personal, infrastructural, educational or otherwise so you can suck up your winning and find a way to help your people come out of it's extreme poverty and misery they are currently in.its worse to boast of a high debt profile as well as a high poorverty and underdevelopment.that region only knows yahoo 1 Like |

LazyGold: We are in a jet age where people travel a lot!! For instance, there are over 4million Yoruba people living in UK alone. That is a population of some countries in Europe! The highest population of Nigerians running to Dubai and doing menial works there are the yorubas! So you should first ask why are the yorubas running to these countries (if Southwest is a land of milk and honey) b4 asking why the Igbos are travelling to Lagos to do business!! 6 Likes 2 Shares |

LazyGold: I am very sure you have not travelled outside south west. travelling is part of education. try to learn from other tribes without biased. we yorubas are too superstitious and praise- singers of known criminals. most yoruba youths are lazy and like begging for money. yes, there are criminals in other tribes and they commit crime for big profits. but here my people will be committing heinous crimes for peanut. yorubaland is retrogressing and young ones are believing tales of elders that igbo are cannibals and lovers of money without questioning. no tribe is special. there are bad people and good people in every culture. 6 Likes |

LazyGold: This crap you posted says nothing! Assuming, without conceeding, that University of Ibadan has the highest professors, the relevant question is: how many of them are from Yoruba tribe? And how many of them are from other tribes? The lecturer doing his sabbatical in a Ghanian University that recently ran into trouble when his castigating video leaked, is a Professor in University of Lagos but he is from IMO State And why is University of Ado-Ekiti having 0 professor? Going by your analogy, I thought you people say Ekiti State has the highest professors?!! 2 Likes 3 Shares |

I supervised waec and neco exams and couldn't but wow at the rate of exam malpractices. so please please spare us the professors bulcrap. the quality of education there is at low low elb and thats to tell you the quality of professors you r breeding up there. 3 Likes |

EngrKem:the guy is deluded. Despite the gap the south west gap the south east pre independence in of education, despite the set back the south east also experienced as a result of the civil war, yet the south east has experience significant improvement so much that they now compare themselves with people who didn't have any of these set backs. The south east has every reason to be the most indepted region and it would be justified, but not the southwest. But they would reason it in a tribalistic stvpid manner without acknowledging the facts 5 Likes |
