I served in Ekiti state and I couldn’t believe what I saw, it was totally unimaginable. Forget regional differences, leave Lagos and visit other parts of the SW and you will cry.
Comparing federal universities in the SW to their counterparts in the SE is foolishness because they are federal universities. UNN, FUTO etc are top notch universities in their own right.

Debt, when used properly, is an instrument for development so, when you are poor and have low IGR, if means you have poor credit ratings and you can not access credit facilities which means lack of development.

special centres are everywhere and are even more in lagos. presently unn is best university in nigeria(webometrics ranking),followed by u.i and ilorin. universities in north like abu and buk are closing the gap with sw universities. sw is living past glory other regions are catching up with us. we should tell young ones to work harder

to be honest I av met good knowledgeable ibos who are quite outstanding coz I schooled in the east and also served in the east but truth be told 90% of the schools engage in examination malpractices which are encouraged by the school management.

the last part I doubt, the fact is in of education the south west is living in past glory. the South East has gradually taking over.
