Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have killed a shop owner in Ijegun area of Lagos. Biliki was hit by a bullet on Saturday after the policemen fired at a suspect who was on the run. Igbere TV gathers that the shop owner was hit while in her store which is on a street close to the Oba’s palace. One of the SARS operatives was immediately mobbed by irate residents. Biliki was said to have died in a hospital. Lagos police spokesman, Bala Elkana, has not made a statement on the incident.
