I get all you guys point. The main essence of the thread is to share & proffer advise on tourist visa, and not to the illegality in achieving it.

However, we need to be cautious of how we address our holy truth. Say the truth but don't be abusive and disrespectful; even though you feel you're Methuselah and far older than all of us here, do know that even that kid next to you deserves some respect.

I understand where you're coming from but still, using words like "una dey cry" in a forum like this seems a bit too far. We were all wrong and right from our individual point of view, and explicitly, I didn't say Wajt was holier than thou.

Dishing abuses is very easy, acting calm even when being stepped upon is harder. From your point of view, u may believe Wajt had gone wrong as regards what this forum stands for; yes you are right but don't use wrong to correct wrong (if d English is correct) as it is against nairaland rules to be abusive or use vulgar languages.

Ain't ing anybody and I'm against no one. But still, let's all employ emotional intelligence and respect one another.

Do I have to reschedule appointment date? Tho I just goto update profile n change to d new confirmation No n I click save.

I scheduled an appointment for my dad and my kid brother for September 23. I'm made a mistake on the ds160 form regarding place of birth. I was told on this forum that I could correct it, which I did. I now have to link the new application number to the scheduled appointment. I was able to change that of my dad, but I wasn't able to change my kid brother's own because I used my dad as the principal applicant. I need to CGI to help me rectify it.

congrat.as long as mail is from the embassy,then it's possible however you might not receive at DHL until Monday/Tuesday

this forum and thread used to help and assist them on how to go about filling there Form by themselves, and when people come here to do oversabi and wanna be champion like they know everything, that will not take you anywhere

I haven't seen any successful transcript from Nigeria since about 2 to 3 months now... that show that people not happy a the US visa I no more easy to get...

I'm a nigerian doctor. I met this beautiful girl online November last year. She's US citizen from Florida.
We got married on her second visit to Nigeria last week.

I have gone through the USCIS website on how to get an immigrant visa, but I'd like to get further information on what I'm supposed to do in a step wise manner so I don't make mistakes.

How long does the process take? What documents should I provide?

If you need to make corrections to your kid brothers ds160 form , you need to go to the initial portal for filling a ds160 then retrieve the old one and do a new one. Once done you would have a ds160 for him as well then go to your CGI platform that has your dad's profile, open the profile and go through you would get to the place that contains your kid brothers details. Click on the edit button (like a pen) and the add the new ds160 number and save.
This should sort it out

Actually, that won't work. The message you sent too does not have good enough content.... The old and new DS160 form details are not there, likewise both applicants' details, you ought to send his port data page alongside the message. I'm however surprised you didn't even get a response from them at all, strange. Anyways, this is one of the reasons I keep advocating for the setting up of individual profiles for all applicants, it's easier from there to fix challenges of this nature.

Ladyguinivere ma, will plead that this solution is added to your introductory message for this thread, please. This one is actually no fault of applicant's so to speak.

The fastest and easiest solution for your situation now and generally is to call their number (kindly search for it, it's in the previous thread I think), explain your predicament and have them change your brother's DS160 number from their end, this won't happen without them questioning a bit though, basic questions. Ensure you have his port with you when making the call....

Please, which browser is best in accessing the DS-160 form? I'm using latest version of Firefox and I have flash installed, but the page doesn't load smoothly. If it loads at all, it will bounce back to default page. It's frustrating my registration.
