Your question is a bit unclear. You can get a 2 bed apartment in SW or NW calgary
Sorry to butt into this conversation. Calgary is my ultimate destination (even though I don't have ITA yet). What would you say about the cost of renting a 1 bedroom in a midleclass apartment in Calgary? In your view, which quadrants of Calgary are cost-efficient for new immigrants?

I hope I am not repeating a question that's been answered previously.

Thanks.

Thanks.

British Columbia... I converted from ACCA. I started the entire process in mid November. That was when i first messaged them declaring my interest to apply. I got the hip on May 1 and had to pay pro-rated subscription + hip application fees to complete the process. Cost me over a thousand CAD. If you don't pay the amount within 30 days... the process would be restarted and all efforts lost.

wow, God is indeed awesome. It took about 5 months or so. Since it takes a while for the conversion process to A, Is ACCA recognised by employers in that you can get a non-entry ing/ finance position in your region while waiting for A? I'm just wondering since i'm an ACCA myself. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hello Everyone,

Please I need a "personal" response to this very pressing question,( ie you have , or know someone who has ) as I might have more questions. How does a landed immigrant (ie PR) have a baby in Ontario without having to incur medical expenses if for instances the person lands in the 8th month of pregnancy , this is bearing in mind the 90 days or so waiting period for Ontario's health card.

Urgent responses will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is no way around this unfortunately

For a descent one bed apartment, I would suggest that you budget around $1100 plus utilities. Difference between 2 bed and 1 bed apartments are not usually much. Maybe 100 to 150 dollars different per month.
For new immigrants, the most cost efficient is the North East.

like how easy is it to get a job in that field

This is totally subjective and location dependent. Some marketers would get a marketing job before they land while it might take another marketer months.

Wow!!! Thats scary. Someone mentioned though that after i get the PR card, it might be possible to claim back the hospital fees. What do you think? (quote author=canadaman18 post=78157326]

My best advice to you (which one of my friends is adopting), try and land in a province that medical healthcare starts from day 1, say Calgary, then you can subsequently move to another province. If it's Ontario, my dear, nothing like healthcare in the first 3 months.

Cheers**

No paper.

However, you will do a refresher course (course on Canadian law and tax). All these cost money oooo... POF go juz dey reduce anyhow.

It's well.

Well, impossible is nothing. People with ACCA get jobs (whether entry or experienced roles) in CA. At least i have heard of a couple of them. But i can say for certain that your chances are better increased when you have your A. That's why most ants over there work towards achieving it. You can also do other North American based exams like CFA, CRMA, CFE, CIA etc. to increase your chances further, depending on your chosen ing field.

You have to live in Alberta a certain number of days to qualify for healthcare. If it's found out that you moved out before the said number of days you would be asked to refund whatever expense you accrued.
