Hello everyone. Forgive me for this long post.

My mom has been bleeding as a result of fibroid for 2 and half months now. She is suppose to have a sugery and remove the fibroid but the doctors are saying they can't do any sugery until the bleeding stop as it is too risky to perform a surgery on her if she's still bleeding.

4 pints of blood was injected in her as she has lost so much blood, and was getting weaker by the day.

I am scared that the four pints of blood will be wasted again as she's still bleeding heavily.

I need solutions in stoping the bleeding, so the surgery will be done and the bleeding will be stopped. Pls if know anything that can be done so the bleeding can stop, it will be appreciated.

She has already reached menopause, but the issue is she is bleeding heavily and it's not stopping.

She went for a scan and it was fibroid that appeared.

My mom once had such experience she tried everything and everywhere she was told to go nothing worked. She did scan and was told it was fibroid We even suggested she go for Operation but she refused. Thank God she refused after sometime the bleeding stopped till date nothing like that.

I strongly doubt the issue might be just fibroid.
She better consult a consultant gynecologist, I don't know who is seeing her presently. Because cancer is a much more likely possibility for her case and age. But I hope I'm wrong.

No doctor will give you medical treatment options without seeing your mother and asking basic questions and doing the necessary examinations.
The doctors she is seeing, are they not gynecologist? If they are certain that it is fibroid that is causing the bleeding, there are recommendations they could give. Considering that she is beyond 50 and has no child bearing years ahead of her, they should likely suggest she undergo a hysterectomy (remove the uterus entirely). I don't know any sensible doctor who will keep on transfusing a patient with such amount of bleeding, when the solution is so simple as removing the uterus entirely instead of removing the fibroids alone.
And removing the uterus ensures that there is no more threat to any cancer involving the uterus again.

Ok, u know wat? My suggestion wud b to take her to a govt hospital or to a hospital where u cud get a specialist (gynecologist).

She's seeing a professional gynecologist. She does not want to remove the uterus completely just the fibroid. She's currently on drugs, but my fear is the bleeding is not stopping.

She's seeing a specialist already. I wad just hoping to get other opinions , probably from people that have had the experience, or know some one that has gone through the same thing.

I know of someone that had similar issue. They have to remove her womb for permanent solution.

I get that, but she is currently bleeding heavily, and if the bleeding does not stop, they can't do the sugery.

Perhaps you have not seen the medical report on your mothers fibroid issue. If you have you would see that she either has Submucosal fibroids or Intramural fibroids which impinge or grow on the uterine cavity / wall, they more often than not cause heavy periods and also cause bleeding
