Okay. So my time was for 10am this morning. I got there at 8.50am. There was no crowd at all today, right from the gate where they do the checks till I got inside.

Immediately I got in, I was directed straight for biometrics, as there was no queue. After the biometrics, I was praying there would be a little queue so I can atleast rehearse in my head before I am called upon. Lol. But no, immediately after biometrics, I was directed to an empty counter straight for the interview.

Below is the transcript:
A white guy on glasses attended to me.
VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning *with a smile*
VO: Can I have your port?
Me: Hands it over
VO: Why do you want to go to America?
Me: I will be going on my annual leave, so would use that opportunity to spend it with ...... (a family, they are family friend)
VO: How long have you known them?
Me: I have known them for over 10years
VO: Where do they stay?
Me: ........ US
VO: How long are you staying?
Me: 14days
VO: Where do you work? *he is typing *
Me: I mentioned where I work, and what I do together.
VO: Have you travelled out before?
Me: Yes, been to the Uk severally since 2010, dubai twice, Kenya and Ghana. *he is also flipping through my ports and checking.
VO: Are you single or married?
Me: Single
VO: Any kids?
Me: No
*He continues typing*
*keeps my port on the box beside him, and brings out the white paper. Pick up at the circled location...bla bla.
Me: Thank you...
Leaves there, with a wide grin.

I got in at 9.30 and by 9.45 I was out. Even before my 10am time. Interview itself took about 5mins.

Sincerely I tap from your testimony, I trust and believed God that I will testify positively the way you did yours to this forum, and in Jesus name I claimed it and I said Amen to that.

Same as the one you ed on your DS160 form. Hope you did sha?

It's a soft copy I ed, because I snapped the port photo with my techno pad, edited it to get the KB size they needed. I still have the soft copy and that is what I want to print out, but I want to know the size, or is it any size inasmuch as it's the same ed port photo?.

2 * 2 inches.... Too many basic questions by you so far sha, I understand you want to do it right and are open to learning, good. You however have an interview to attend, which is paramount, I’m helping you to worry too.

hahahahaaha, As in the man Dey ask Questions for Africa. and Sir ro Add, i doubt if you have a good reason going to USA, i mean your Relative and that bla bla bla. If i was the VO, i might not grant you the VISA, when you hear peoples case and see howthey act even you as an applicant would see thatthey dont need the VISA. thats my 10 kobo advice

Hi ma’am please what and what did you take for your 221g appointment, I just got my port back today , I’ve scheduled an appointment but only the port was returned to me no 221g slip
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Nobody: 10:30am On Feb 18, 2019
This is not correct.

I applied in November last year, and the earliest available date which i picked was Feb 13th of this year.

vibrant99:
God bless you bro, I was worried.

Most people use agents and they come here and sound like they are the ones who applied themselves.

Agents will say there are no dates again that they have to pay someone to give them an earlier date.

No matter what, dates for B-1/B-2 cant be more than 2 weeks available anytime you want to apply.

N.B Which interview center is this please? Lagos/Abuja?

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Nobody: 10:31am On Feb 18, 2019
Exactly.

Says it like he works in the US embassy cheesy cheesy cheesy

OmoBendel24:

And @the purple coloured part includes peak periods, abi? Your air of authority in yarnings sha, hian! Oga, you never jam where people dey monitor and hustle for appointment date when e scarce, you never jam....

Of course people may cancel appointment and it becomes up to the fastest finger to snatch, but that you downplay scarcity of appointment dates like you just did above, that isn’t correct. You have some idea, but reduce the authority with which you assert, please....

I had ed with my phone too which it accepted.

So i snapped at a shop at the parking lot of the embassy, 2mins photo. Though the port wasn't collected, they would request for it, scan it and return it to you.

For our honeymoon
And we are not staying more than
2weeks and my wife is still a final year student
And I am working earning 300k
And i have to cum back to nigeria coz of my work nd my mother and father i am d one sponsoring d trip
Wot our chance d vo won't deny us visa??

Pls nairalanders, I need your advise.
I had applied to the US for visit visa last year but was denied. In my application, I was going for vacation/ sight seeing on my own...no invitation letter.
This year, my cousin who entered the US through masters programme, later got married and stayed back is willing to invite me. So my questions are??

1. Does US questions the mode of entering the by the person inviting the applicant even though he/ she now lives there legally
2. Should I still maintain my initial plan of visiting without INVITE or get the invite from my cousin as this will reduce financial expectation from me

Thanks.

Your chances are as bright as ever if you could prove home ties. First, think about something that would bring you back to your home country before you apply for visa.

Home ties;

Having a good job, good salary and good bank statement.
Good family business.
Working in a good company or reputable organization
Marriage.
Property like land, assets, trust s.
Being in the university and so on.
please help a brother that want to know
what is trust

They did not ask for my statement, even though i had it with me.
I was asked my monthly salary, while filling out my DS 160 form. That was all.

I was issued 221G after my drop box on 31st of January. But was issued this morning after an intense 20-30mins interview. My advice is that you go prepared with all your docs that explains that you were not working while in the US.

My People, I have been a silent reader here for a long time and i really appreciate what the GURUS here have done. LadyG, Seyewest, Omobendel and all, Una don try well well.
So i have some worries here. I attended my Interview weeks back in Abuja and i was given 2 papers, one for pick up and the other for istrative processing. Now the VO stated there that i would not need any further document and that they would get back to me through my email when my VISA is ready. My point is that its been 3 weeks and i have not seen any email from them and its still On process. I am a little worried as i would love to get my Ticket sharply since i am seeing some very great deals of less then 300k around my travel time. Please Gurus Advice...
