Eco306: You can apply at anytime. I wrote to some professors but none replied. I ed the postgraduate school and was informed that I do not necessarily need to have a supervisor before applying. They said I should apply and a potential supervisor would me based on my research intent. So I put in my application and after 2 weeks a potential supervisor wrote to me. We had a Skype interview. Then the waiting continued till January this year when they offered me ission. You need to the following when applying; -IELTS, overall band of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 -Your Msc thesis -Research intent ( the template from the University website) -Add any research paper you have. -Two recommendation letters from your referees -Bachelor's degree certificate and transcripts -Master's degree certificate and transcripts -Identity card (International port or birth certificate ) There is no separate application for scholarship. On the online form you will be ask if you would like to be considered for the scholarship, so select yes. 2 Likes |

Good day all. Respect to FEMI & SOLIN PLEASE I want to pour out my own case. I am a B. Sc graduate of Biomedical technology. My wife is a ed Midwife and just graduated too as a nurse last Dec here. Now I have been chatting with Christine from the midwifery council of new Zealand and she said I have to follow the process of ing as a midwife in new Zealand. An initial payment of $250NZD to b paid and then if they consider her transcript okay(she did 3yrs midwifery training) with NZ she will be told to continue her application with a full payment of $750NZD. Below is the general information for international Midwife https://www.midwiferycouncil.health.nz/midwives/becoming-ed-practise/general-information-internationally-qualified-midwives and below is the guidelines https://www.midwiferycouncil.health.nz/midwives/becoming-ed-practise/internationally-qualified-midwives-application-guidelines Now please I want to know since if the council grant her to continue her application if getting a job will be easy since this will make her licence to practice as a midwife in NZ. Again agencies told me they can only assist to sponsor us( she and 2persons- this is according to what someone said in a thread) only if the council approve her application. please guide and advice us since I am about to begin the application. can I also be able to do a short course to perfect my skills if we are granted work permit? (my head don cold for book and since I graduate I no practice) there are series of forms to sign and send by either a notary public, solicitor or a justice of the peace. who are they in Nigeria context. I de suspect lawyer ooo. I need help o since I need to port out of this country o. 2 Likes 1 Share |

solin: Omg.... Are you serious bro? Jesus |
femijck(m): 7:59pm On Feb 11, 2019 |
naijamedrep:yes nothing like a year visitor visa.... if u have a visa waiver port, then u will be granted a year visitor at the border but u can’t stay more than 3 month in NZ within that one year. And 6 months maximum if you’re from the UK. General visitor visa is 3 months which can be extended to a maximum stay of 9 month if u have a good reason for extension e.g relationship. But INZ often grant a straight 9 months visitor visa depending on your circumstances and it’s usually a multiple entry visa which means u can travel in and out of NZ within a year and half (18 months) for a maximum stay of 9 months. |

Please on the INZ express entry. From their website I saw minimum point of 100 here am seeing 160. I am bit confused. My score was 150 because I have Msc. I have some years of Experience in Electrical Engineering and also Instrumentation and Process Control Engineering. I want to know how feasible it will be for me to start INZ EE process. Thanks
