I graduated from Babcock and came in to 200l through direct entry (Alevel). I don't know the particular units needed but all i did was to take my normal courses from 200l till 400l and i graduated fine....if this helps sha

Check your Course catalogue or brochure depending on what you call it in your school.

You will find compulsory courses and minimum number of electives you must offer for each semester. Then sum them together, you should have it. I hope it helps.

You'll find a list of courses to be done, and their respective Units.
Add up all the units you did from 200l till you graduated. You have your answer.

Each school has its own values..

The GPA might not have a strong effect on ission chances. Let him/her prepare a good motivation letter to back it up. And apply to schools that have non restricted ission to the course.

House, please, I have a masters degree in physical chemistry with a CGPA of 3.98 / 5.0 but my undergraduate GPA is 2.5 / 5.0. Now, I want to apply for Computer Simulation in Science (MSc)
University of Wuppertal. But part of the requirement said : a Bachelor's degree or German Diploma degree with a mark of (or corresponding to) at least 3.0 after rounding down to the first decimal place in the German system.

My sibling intends to apply for undergraduate studies in this Winter session and he has completed 100 level at Lautech already. However, all the schools we checked on daad.de require IELTS or TOEFL for BSc ission. Is it possible for this requirement to be waived? Maybe a letter showing he completed his 100 level courses in English? If not, which is better? TOEFL or IELTS? Another thing is that it wasn't specified if the IELTS should be General or Academic on the website. Can he do any of the IELTS?

About the first question,
A number of schools recognise Nigeria as an English speaking country. Some don't.
What he needs to do is to mail each school he has shortlisted, whether he can be regarded as a native English speaker. If that's approved, then he doesn't need IELTS or TOEFL. He can also ask in the mail if he can obtain a letter from his institution that his 100Level was taught in English. That's another option.
Another alternative is that you can visit the ministry of education and request for an official letter that states that his primary education (5yrs) and secondary education (6yrs) in Nigeria was instructed in English. Some schools accept a letter like that for 10 years of English teaching for primary to high school. But if he wants to have a broadband acceptance, let him just write IELTS (Academic). That's the accepted one for students.

About your question, I think the school wants both.. since you said "AND".
However, send them a mail whether you can be allowed to submit the German proficiency after 1-2 semesters of your program. Also, you can inquire which type of English proficiency they need. You can easily get the English proficiency here before travelling.
