Oga u have to be lucky with the right device that Updates its phones. If unfortunate is your case like some of us using infinix note 5, a wuru wuru coy, then sorry na one chance you enta. Android one phone but last security patch was December and no official news of stable Android 9 (except for rumors). All we do is watch Nokia and xiaomi enjoy regular updates due it by Google as an Android one phone

Lol oh, really? What do you do when you are trying to operate new features after system updates and you get the unfortunately youknowwhat program has stopped? Restart? I'm recommending based on experience. If you know nothing about phones, don't come here to mislead people. Factory reset is always recommended even by those pushing out the updates unless it's security updates.

I upgraded my Tecno camon cm and some of the features disappeared...

I updated my Tecno Camon CX Air sometime last year and my hot-spot kept malfunctioning. It went off every 5mins. All possible solutions seemed ineffective. I sent it to a CarlCare centre and it returned with the same problem.
Amazingly I saw a new update today from Tecno and after ing and installing it, the problem has been fixed.

One reason not to update... bugs (at least Apple confirmed that some time last year)
