They are all good when you need cash but master card is the best

Can be used internationally. (Except for some European Websites. Especially if you plan on using Skrill or Neteller, MasterCard won't work).

So far I have not had issues with Visa. It can be truly used anywhere and everywhere.

Verve is a shitty piece of crap that deserves no mention.

Wrong! You are only allowed to use them shop abroad or on international websites if your bank allows/enables e-Forex transactions. Not all banks allow it. Only a few banks do

But if you have plans to travel out of the country soon, go for visa card... You can use your naija bank visa card anywhere, Pos, atms..

Naija mastercard can leave you stranded abroad...

Verve is very secure, but only useful in Nigeria... Pos, atm, naija online stores...

of security I will advise u go for verve but having a visa or MasterCard is necessary for international transactions. So keep ur money safe in a verve card and transfer to visa or master when u want to make an International transaction.

You called verve card useless but we firstmonie agents see the visa as the useless one except only Zenith verve card. My conclusion is master card or no card at all.

MasterCard has the features of both verve and visa. Verve can only be used for transactions within the country, can be used to withdraw transfer and even recharge while Visa can be used within and outside the country but sometimes have transfer and recharge issues.

Verve limitation is local...last time I used one was 2008.
Naira mastercard can't receive funds(e.g withdraw $$ to you naira ) from web platforms.... Except refunds. (not sure if things had changed though.....being using visa card for all transactions. )

Visa = Mainly for Online purposes anywhere in the world. Cannot transfer money to others banks

Verve = Mainly for ATM transactions and not accepted worldwide

What are you saying? Visa cannot transfer money to other banks? Really?
Please, I urge you to make a research about an issue before you make a conclusion because I use Visa card and I use it for transfer almost all the time.
Besides, Visa and Master are the same because both serves the same purpose.

My neighbor once send me to helped her withdraw money, I got to the closest ATM to me [Micro finance bank] I made my own withdrawal with my UBA card and when I tried withdrawing with my neighbor's verve card... immediately I insert the card, the next thing I see is "This card is not smart"...being the the first time I'm seeing such a message I just burst into laughter.... I was like which one is "This card is not smart" again? abi na you no smart... I had to go the main bank to withdraw

similar issue happen to me with that shiity banks.
I fill a report and request for there stvpid Manager with my voice rising all over the place! Before the bank change it for me.

Because verve are much in there hand so them want to give it out hence the decieving of customer.

If you haven't activate it I advise you do what I did.
