Their is no denying that when this millennium started Marvel had a clear blueprint of what they want to do.

And they executed it perfectly, with stand alone of their superhero movies and incorporating them into a broad universe of avengers. Whereas after the successful cinema release of the dark knight trilogy, dc are still stuck with same old same old. Until recently when they thought, oh wait, let's make stand alone movies for our other non performing outshined heroes.

It will be interesting to see the direction where Marvel will go concerning big budget animation such a Spider-verse.

It's been hard and horrible viewing dc cartoons when i am no more in 90s.

The world is going forward not backwards, if i feel nostalgic i will go dc cartoons of 90s, but this 2019 we need the new kind of realistic, graphic and 3d animations.

It will be interesting to see the direction where Marvel will go concerning big budget animation such a Spider-verse.

Animations struggle at the box office.
You can make an animation with $100m and you will struggle to earn thrice the budget....unless you are Disney/Pixar.
Check out all the animation made this year.
Apart from Incredibles 2, only one made it past $500m.
Into the Spiderverse barely made it past $300m on $90m budget not counting the millions spent on marketing.
This is a profit but it's nothing spectacular especially when Disney makes a massive $800m to $1b every year.
Even Universal manages to hit massive success like that once in a while.
So yes, animations struggle to make profit.
Spiderverse will get a sequel but you won't see superhero 3D animation every year.
It took them 4 years to release spiderverse after big hero 6.
So if you think Marvel will go big and start big budget 3D animation every year, think again.
It's not a bed of roses for big budget animations.
Movies like spiderverse happen once in a while.
And before you ask why I'm talking about money.... It is always about money and making profits.

DC cartoons are never horrible.
The majority of them are good, I will have a difficult time picking out horrible ones.
Some of them are not spectacular but I enjoy it.
Flash point, Doom and Red Hood were amazing.
If they were horrible they wouldn't have a lot of fans.
And WB wouldn't let DCAU release any more animations.
It's either you were never into cartoons or you were never a fan.

Easier said than done.
Realistic 3D animations are expensive to make.
Like I pointed out before big budget animations struggle at the box office.
Only Dreamworks, Disney and Universal have many hits and that is because they built a reputation over the years.

If DC is falling apart, having difficulties or struggling like you are implying....
How did they gross 4.8 billion with 6 movies.
Even Marvel didn't make that much with first 6 movies.

DC struggles are too exaggerated.
Some folks expect them to catch up immediately with a universe that is 20 movies in.
How is that even possible when they are only 6 movies in.

lol your own na just fight, Marvel just got the right for spider-man back from Sony and they are trying to experiment, there primary aim now is to continue with MCU after avengers end game. Spider man into that came out Dec 14 last year, more than a month ago and it only just at 300 million, abeg park well.

Under The Red Hood was a flawless masterpiece and it deserves it's 100%.

It doesn't matter if it was reviewed by 7 or 100 critics.
The cartoon was simply flawless.

Bro have you seen batman Gotham knight ... This is the best DC masterpiece I've ever seen.. Like 4 different types of animation in a single movie, different storyline.. DC is underrated I swear
