Hi Fam.

Please I'll like to know if WES requests for WAEC results from people evaluating only their MSc. credential obtained outside Nigeria.

Gracias.

No. WES requests for WAEC/NECO if you want to evaluate degrees issued by Nigerian universities.

To be sure, go to WES website and check the requirements for the country that issued you the MSc.

You actually need to have been physically present in Canada for at least 1,019 days (approximately three years) in order to qualify for renewal of permanent residency status. It's crystal-clear on IRCC website.
joo2018:
1. Yes.
2. You must be physically present in Canada for at least 730 days - 2yrs (cumulatively not necessarily concurrently) over 5yrs to maintain your permanent residence status.

You need your POF as soon as your get your AOR. However, you will need to prove that the fund are yours and not borrowed. Since they ask for the prior 6-month statements, they will see if the minimum required funds have been added in on lump sum. You will need to prove the origins of the funds if you are in that situation. You should check this link on how you can prove origin: https://www.justforcanada.com/settlement-funds.html

AOR means ‘Acknowledgement of Receipt’ of your submitted application. If you don’t have your POF correct and complete before you submit your application then there’s nothing to submit. And it should remain correct and complete till you get to Canada.

Thanks for the insight... Pls, if selling an asset... Do i still need a gift deed and/or letter of explanation?
Nazor83: 1:04pm On Sep 02, 2018
If you sell sonmething to raise money, it is better you provide evidence of ownership of that thing and evidence it was sold with an LOE of course. A lot of people have done that and successfully got their PPR.

IMO when you enter the pool, with a score above 400, you will be ed, that's if you meet the requirements for the jobs that they need more hands in ( no one is privy to that info). Mostly IT personnel get the PNP, Bilingual, i. E French and english speaking folks (I think). Cos Ontario is the province where the capital is situated, and to land a FEDERAL job, you need to be bilingual.

Yah I figured. Thanks for reaching out. ☹️

It has been amended to 2 years, just as the citizenship criteria has been amended to 3 years

Two years for permanent resident.
However you need three years for citizenship

You’re right except that you need POF before AOR not “as soon as you get AOR”. This is because you’d need to your POF during your online application to receive the AOR in the first place. I doubt that you’ll be able to submit an application without POF. So I’d say you need your POF before you submit your application or post ITA.

Before you submit your APR not at the AOR stage. you need he fund self before you enter the pool but we all put the required amount with intent/prayer that the funds will come( for those who don't have ready while filling EE). All the best
