During my bachelor life alot of peoples use to tell me that when u are married you put all your income into better use than going around with one slay queen that will be sucking all your money. Now for almost one & half year that I have been married I still can't comprehend the one that's more expensive to run.

Honestly, I think marriage isn't meant to be an expensive venture but a productive relationship. The woman must be a helper (), she should be productive and not just a "consumer".

OP if your wife isn't productive enough, I'd advice you to make her do the needful. Any woman that poses as a liability isn't worth it.

My wife is productive but enough? I can't say but so far so good we have no problem or what ever only the pressure of performing my duties is heating up on me that's what makes me come up with the write up. thanks for your contribution.....

With wife you are both responsible to run your home, to make things simple you and wife got no kids. So rent, food must be on the table nomatter what

Girlfriend you are not responsible for either of those, u buy her airtime few gift etc you are fully responsible

Whereas with wife you cannot say i dont want to pay rent this month etc

From what i have noticed here, most nigerians you sound like dating a girl is takingover her parents responsiblity , “MONEY FOR UPKEEP”

You are meant to spoil her here and there if you have the means. I understand that we spoil women to win hearts but dont do it as its now your fully responsibilty aslong you aint married its not your duty to takeover responsibility its still her parents untill the is handedover to you aka marry
